it looks like you live in a cool place, just try and use more saturated colors and shooting directly towards sunlight. that should be a good starting place. what's your color setting on? i always have mine on vivid with the contrast and saturation turned up to the max, i find for my it works well.

I'm on vivid too, but I had ADL on so contrast and saturation were set at standard. Hmm.

just something to test out next time, not saying it will instantly improve your photos that's just how i shoot mine.

guys, im going through a rut :( im not taking any photos off my own back anymore, just taking them solely for my photography a level, its becoming less of a hobby and more of a chore because its work :(

yeah that's not a great feel, when your creative work gets dictated by a project or something photography at my school gives us pretty much free reign on what we want to take photos of granted that we choose something that fits the semester's theme (which is dictated by the education department) and it's a design unit with photography focus, so most of the marks don't even come from the photography work but rather doing all the theory shit about how they're designed and fit the theme and all that shit

so is ours but we get more marked on the way we create our coursework not the actual images.. its more the process we took to get the image. definitely going to try and get back into it all once all my AS work is done :)
