I feel like this is a painting or 3d render, it feels very still and surreal to me... And I love it. Really nice.

I love all photography where people do stunts. I would show you some but having 2 different computers and only seeing one once a week is KILLING ME.

A little too much post process in my opinion. And really contrasty
But overall I dig the pictures.
I'd totally delete it too if it weren't that the traffic light were two colours.
:O I never noticed that! How did that happen?

Agreed, but very good photos. I see a lot of grain in the darker areas which kinda detracted from them.
hehe, we're on page 69 ;)
Mate, what the fuck? I just favourited like 10 of your photos from the same trip and only one of those in in this post!
Get them up here, those landscapes are sublime.
The Brenizer has worked really well. Not sure about the log on the right, however.
The path leading up to the background is really nice too, but the model and colours are sweet too.
Got some more from Broadstairs:

Wow thank you so, so, so much man! I'll make sure I get more on here! :) Again, thank you!
Gonna totally come from nowhere and post some of my stuff taken with my shitty, beaten up htc desire.
I hope you guys won't hate me much for this but I thought these looked pretty good, for a cellphone camera that is

You can't blame a camera for bad photos.
The pictures not really creative rather then just photos of a thing. Try to bring your subjects into a context. Also the second picture looks kinda strange, I see the knife but I can't really determine what that thing under it is.
Also, timestamps are a nono in the most cases.

Yah, my phone automatically adds the timestamps.
And that thing under the knife is just the sheath, I put it there to get a small angle on the knife itself.
The photos were just taken because I was showing how much a Moraknife sucks and breaks kinda easy (though I use it every day at work).

It's perfectly ok to use a cellphone camera for your pictures(ofcourse to some extend), but you do need a good subject or idea for a picture. The pictures you took are from random objects lying around.
Even if you used a 3000 dollar camera to get the shots you just posted, the pictures wouldn't be interesting because the subjects aren't interesting and/or the pictures don't tell a story.
Some example pictures I took with my cellphone:

These are not fantastic or anything but I thought about my composition and subjects. In this case it doesn't really matter if I used an expensive camera or a cellphone camera.
How the hell do you get that with a phone?
Every picture I take with my phone comes out looking like someone smeared feces all over it.
The best picture that I've ever taken with it was when I took a picture of my new camera.
I took this on the other side of the gym because I couldn't afford a cap and gown.
[t]http://puu.sh/sTxt[/t]
I had the iso on the lowest and it still loads the image with static.
HTC does not like me.
My first photoshoot ever was done with a Motorola Droid (the first one)
And honestly, they are the best pictures I feel I have ever taken of a subject

If the knife and hat were leaned against each other against an interesting plain backdrop (Flag, window, etc) it'd look a lot better.
As ctlilc said, the camera doesn't matter. Expensive cameras just make things (Mostly) easier, not (Necessarily) better.
Not really worthy of this thread, but I took a picture of a light in my room!
[t]http://puu.sh/sUN4[/t]
if it wasn't really worthy, why did you post it?
I forgot I had one other photo from the Air and Space Museum that I went to that I wanted to share.

here's some retro photography

Horses freak me out. They're all after my hair or something.
It isn't even long, I have no idea why.
Those horse shots are awesome man, the last one is really clear! Love the first one too, very moody. But the one with the dog lead in annoys me as its in the classic angle that all new photographers feel the need to do, it just seems like a poor attempt to be artistic.
Also, the further above photo of the plane is beautiful, well done!!
Never had a problem with horses. Except they're so god damn tall. :o
I like the water reflection image but the water drops on the glass are kinda distracting.

Do you, by any chance, grow carrots on your head? I think that would be the only logical explanation.
I've also been kicked in the leg by one, I was 5 and didn't know that you shouldn't sprint up full speed behind them.
And nope, no carrots. I like carrot cake though, that may be it.
