I believe that he is abusive because of what I like to call "small man syndrome." Basically, what that is, is that he has an inferiority complex and needs to pick on others physically and/or mentally to make himself feel better and to rais what little self esteem he has. The reason why he probably hit her is due to a lack of self control, she probably said something that angered him, and he lacked the self control not to retaliate with physical violence. I have had to deal with these types all through my middle school and high school career. I am glad to be in college, to be away from the childish idiocy that is bullying.

Nah I just watch a lot of this shit in my Highschool. The hot chicks don't even know what percentage 1/4 is and their spelling and grammar is borderline dyslexic.
Did you know 1 out of 8 relationships are abusive?
I think that abusive relationships continue due to:
-Manipulation
-Threats
-Love (Well some)
I guess you'll never know til' you ask..

I've noticed that brock tends to be into women that are MUCH smarter than he is
Nurse Joy, Officer Jenny, Giselle, etc.

Pretty much every woman was smarter than Brock
Pretty much every woman was smarter than Brock
Well that's not hard, But i mean it's a common trend that all the women in the series are smarter than brock is, so they tend to be like "Bitch please, I got a PHD in Brock-Is-A-fag"
It's not the abusive boyfriends that are the problem, it's the dumb bitches that don't do anything about it.
Your logic is wrong, sure the women not doing anything about it isn't helping but they wouldn't have to be doing anything if the abusive partner wasn't abusive.
I'd say therefore the abusive partner is the problem, wouldn't you?

His reasoning is that it's OK to be abusive as long as the partner is submissive.

News flash: Shy and weak-willed != dumb bitch
Women like tough guys.
It's a genetic thing.
Back in the day, tough males could defend her and the children better than weaker ones, so over generations women who were attracted to stronger males and had more children. It's natural selection.
I suppose what you like is somewhat genetic, so the mothers passed it on to their daughters. Or maybe it's the Oedipus complex at work?
By beating them it shows they're tough? Who knows.
True. A girl grows up thinking the ideal man is a bad-ass/bad-boy who will defend them from the horrors of the world. Sadly, most of the time, I just see some abusive douche treat his girl like shit and she only ends up going back to him after getting an ass-kicking. I've noticed this all of my life, and unfortunately, most Nice Guys never bag the girl.
If you are the nice guy and managed to find a lovely woman to call your own, then power to you. Everyone needs love.

Hi, it's Vince with Bitchslap! You're gonna be in a great mood all day because you're gonna be slappin' your bitches away with the bitchslap. One slap. She's in the kitchen. Two slaps. She's making dinner! Now, you love dinner, you hate making it! You know you hate making dinner, that's why you got a woman! Watch this: one slap... dinner!
Women that are generally abused by their fathers find guys that will abuse them. For those women, a beating is "comfortable" to their nature.
Really a shame to have to live with that as a kid and then attract that as an adult.

Oh god hahahahahah
Here's how this shit breaks down
If you are abused by a man (or a girl if your some sort of sissy man baby) and you leave him/her, good for you. You did the smart and right thing
If you are abused by a man (or girl if you're some sort of sissy man baby) and you DON'T leave him/her and tehy continue to abuse you, you deserve no sympathy what so ever and no feeling sorry because you are too much of a fucking dumbass for actually believeing "but I love him, and he loves me!" HEY, if he/she is BEATING YOU then chances are they DON'T love you. Smarten the fuck up, grow some goddamn balls/ovaries, and leave the asshole/bitch.

That's how it works!
"Was it really worth the $1000 for prostitution?",sometimes I ask myself.

Agreeing on a small degree. Sometimes, people have no one else to go to, which is why they return to their abusive partner (Rihanna to Chris Brown...)

Just a bit. I've been saying that in real life and having to explain it which is awkward because nobody else I know plays games like Mass Effect.
