Who cares what some obscure group in india think? Nobody is claiming every single feminist on the planet agrees, but most mainstream feminists will agree that male rape is a problem and shouldn't be ignored.
??? Thanks to that 'obscure group', men can no longer be legally considered rape victims in the second most populous country in the world. If mainstream feminists truly think what you say you do, maybe this'd be big news.
When Uganda passes an anti-gay law everyone flips the fuck out, but this? Did this pretty major change in the definition of gender-related law even ping the interests of groups in the West?

However she's wrong there and also doesn't represent the whole of feminism.
Well considering the anti gay law involved actually executing people of course it got more attention.
Sure, but since feminism is a huge movement I imagine they're able to be concerned with multiple things at once. So, where's the outrage over the legal change? I'd love sources condemning it.

It was an international bestseller and one of the most famous feminist books in the world. Chances are just about every mainstream feminist activist today has read it. Germaine Greer is a very influential woman. She represents Feminism. You can't just say "oh well she doesn't represent the whole of feminism" when she represents the part of it that is the most well-known and the most successful.
Because if we all just make serious comments all the time, it becomes a very boring place.
Anyone notice how strange it is that the video in the OP is about a man who got raped and has to laugh at it because that's how he copes with it, and Jackald has to make "funny" posts because that's how he copes with seriousness? Strange parallel here.
Mods please close thread, it's turned into a argument about feminism in here.
