More relevant.
by the ned of next spring i will be able to buy my mom's 06 chevy malibu for 2900, which is a steal. thats what you need to look for is deals like that.
my grandmother bought a 98 sebring convertible for 4 grand. thing had either 12k or 24k on it.
some girl i dated bought a 1995 Subaru for 700 bucks. and it ran fine and got her where she needed to go. no power locks, power windows, i dont even think AC, but it worked great.
point is... there are great vehicles you can find... but you need to understand to find something nice your gonna need at absolute minimum 3 grand. absolute minimum.
if you just want a car you could get by with paying 700 for something like the 95 i was talking about.
If you're barely skimming by, why the fuck would you buy a muscle car? I love muscle cars but it's definitely NOT what you need/can afford. Just get an 80s Cadillac El Dorado. Awwwww yeah. Pretty cheap too
el dorado. i love those. where the fuck do you find one thats in reasonable condition though
My first car was a vauxhall corsa with 130k miles on the clock and a tiny 3 cylinder engine that barely got me to 60 in 17 seconds. I still loved it for what it was though, and it was damn cheap to run, When you got more driving experience under your belt you can afford a nicer/faster car. Sadly thats the way it works (well the way it works in the UK anyway because people here suck at driving and kids pay like £2000 a year just to insure the shittiest cars)
get a Dacia Sandero
What the fuck? Never thought I'd read that.

Why not? Jap cars from the 90's are reliable. They're absolutely bland, tasteless, boring, dreary, and somewhat immasculating, but this person doesn't seem to have money to blow on something fun.
Although tbh, pretty much all 90's cars are like that to me.
Although tbh, pretty much all 90's cars are like that to me.
Yeah most are.
Wrong wheel drive + inline 4's + MUST BE ROUNDER LOOKING HURR = vomit
Only if you're fucking retarded and a horrible driver do you not know the hand-turn signals. They are way fucking simple.

How does anyone not know it?
Also yea, you want turn signals on your car but you can get away and drive around legally without them. My dad's van lost it's left turn signals and he just uses hand signals for left turn.
"Fucking retarded" no people don't have the time to learn the hand signals. I'm sure they all knew i when they first learned it but forgot it after the years. It just becomes an inconvience when you have to do it that's why there are turn signals and if it breaks you get it fixed.
or you know, if you have a car from the 40's you use hand signals.
or you know, if you have a car from the 40's you use hand signals.
I saw one just the other day, it had working turn signals (working so well that the driver was herp and left one on). :v:
Yeah most are.
Wrong wheel drive + inline 4's + MUST BE ROUNDER LOOKING HURR = vomit
Yep, "round" was the future for the 90's. Nowadays its "LINES LINES EVERYWHERE".
Here OP. Try to find yourself a nice late 90's Ford Taurus.

If you find one that isn't beaten to shit and actually runs well, you will feel accomplished.

your crazy. I am not driving that giant toe
My pay check was cut cuz its the normal semester and I have to share hours. So I need to find a high paying side job next semester and get one. I want to be vintage because I want a car with personality and history in american culture. It can be a bad cur but I rather have a cool bad car such as these

I want to be vintage because I want a car with personality and history in american culture. It can be a bad cur but I rather have a cool bad car such as these
Not like you could anyway. The running joke at my job is that almost every single one is a piece of shit, both mechanically and cosmetically. Seriously. Its practically met the qualifications for "No exceptions."
And no, you will regret having a "cool" car that is a piece of shit. I guarantee it. Unless your willing to put in the hours of work and parts. And have mom drive you to school when the car decides to not run that day.
It's not a really a peice of shit, but with the money you are making it is just not right for your situation. I have a 1974 Chevrolet Camaro and I know I really can't rely on it as my daily driver. Granted, I have a built 454 that gets a solid 8MPG, but even the 350's of a time had you shelling out a lot of cash just driving a few miles a day.
Look for something a little more up to date. Older cars have more issues and they are targets for people looking to make a quick buck.
About the only advantage you will have with that car is how cheap the parts are. But, unlike a newer car with a few problems, you could run into a ton of problems fast with an older car, no matter how pretty it is. You can end up with problems that start from alignments to bearings and bushings, old worn out shocks that make your car drag, rusting frames and body parts, not to mention a wiring harness that has probably been trashed through the years.

trust me im the smartest person on the forum

uhh you're definitely going to need turn signals.
oh please
you're joking if you think that you'll give a damn for the road rules in that thing

let the cloud of smoke be an adequate turn signal
