Terrible game, terrible halftime show, but thanking god the Steelers lost. :unsmith: I'm an Oakland fan, btw.
The two most influential football teams of my life (packer fan dad steelers fan) and it was rather disappointing. Oh well, maybe a better game will happen next time.
+1 for Green n' Gold, -1 for team of ex-cons and rapists. And that half time show was awesome, if only for them bringing in Slash out of motherfucking NOWHERE.
I think refs could have made a few more calls on Packers, but in general is was a fair game. Good sportsmanship too.
Blown facemask call. I'd say it was fair.
oh my god his finger slightly caressed his lower facemask bar
Terrible game, terrible halftime show, but thanking god the Steelers lost. :unsmith: I'm an Oakland fan, btw.
wouldn't say it was a terrible game, the last quarter was magnificent but the rest was kind of boring for an outsider i guess you poor thing
and thus yet another so-so superbowl has come and gone, all that will be remembered of it in years to come are the commercials and the puppybowl, and life shall return to normal
and thus yet another so-so superbowl has come and gone, all that will be remembered of it in years to come are the commercials and the puppybowl, and life shall return to normal
You could say that about anything pal. The super bowl is all about living in the moment and experiencing the game as it's being played.

It wasn't just "another super bowl" either. Stores, venues, and even restaurants closed down early all throughout the state due to the game. Saying, "Go Pack" around here was like saying, "Merry Christmas". It's serious business to the people that care. You should have listened more closely to Michael Douglas' speech, pre-game.
i was really hoping black eyed peas would get booed off stage
Does anyone know about the screen technology that's used in the synthetic terrain itself?
lol [img_thumb]http://img141.imageshack.us/img141/8370/1297048813194.png[/img_thumb] but we already knew that didn't we
I enjoyed that half-time show and I don't even like that kind of music. I thought it was way better than The Who when they performed for it, which is the last time I saw a half-time show. Ha, apparently it was last year. Either way it sucked.
Bad national anthem, bad ads, bad half-time show, game that could have been awesome, but was actually pretty bad. Gentlemen I think we have a new NFL record. Most boring Superbore: 2011 Disagrees? Can anyone honestly name a Superbowl, in recent memory, that was worse?
half time show was horrible. The Super Bowl halftime event looked like the talent show from Revenge of the Nerds. but overall im happy the packers won and the steelers lost
half time show was horrible. the national anthem sucked, and the half time show. im pretty sad the steelers lost but it kept me in my seat until that last incomplete pass. it was a good game.
It's goona be a bitch cleaning up the confetti. Packers got them interceptions.
the national anthem sucked, and the half time show. im pretty sad the steelers lost but it kept me in my seat until that last incomplete pass. it was a good game.
It didn't have the appeal of a blowout, a shootout, or a great comeback. It was close yeah, but that's all the game had going for it, it was nothing spectacular.
Knew the Packers were gonna win it. :c00lbert: Thank god the Steelers didn't win again.
Jesus Christ, when Slash came on stage and I heard Sweet Child of Mine, I said "No, please, please don't rape the song." out loud. And then they did.

I enjoyed the entire thing. Go Packers!
Not that great of ads, half time show was pure shit, but at least the actual football game stayed close and was pretty fun to watch.
Hey Steelers fans, you jelly? :mmmsmug:

And then they did.
I don't get why they didn't have him play Misirlou. Honestly, why would you bring a world-class guitarist on-stage to play a mediocre song he hates (without the solo even). [editline]7th February 2011[/editline] Wow, I forgot how bad sore losers can be.
I was really holding out for the Steelers until they got picked off in the 4th quarter. I knew it was over after that. I didn't watch the halftime show but i'm sure the black eyed peas were as horrible as usual. A good superbowl though 8/10 4 gold stars
