Bro bro, did you know studies out there have actually proved that people that drink from bottled water instead of the tap have usually worse dental health? It's because the fluoride in the water is good for your teeth. The reason toothpaste is dangerous if swallowed in large amounts is because toothpaste generally has a concentration of 1500-1800 parts per million, while water from the tap has less than 5 parts per million.

Not to mention toothpaste tubes clearly indicate children under 3 years of age should not use toothpaste without first having a consultation with a dentist. Which then goes back to the fact that the argument is bullshit for anyone over 3 years of age.
