is it common for some people to see free running at parks?
A lot of this is just acrobatics. I'd really be impressed to see how fast you can get from one point to another using Parkour. Not just fancy flips in the air. I like seeing Parkour used in a more practical sense.
You also look kind of foolish rolling from a 3 foot drop.
Technically, what he's doing now is parkour, but in the vein of freerunning, which focusses on the acrobatic side of the discipline.
Good freerunners are awesome to watch, but parkour is more fluid and beautiful imo.
is this in NYC?
What do you use for the first person bits? Gopro?
yup. Gopro hero.
remember stretch before you exercise

You still look silly :v: If I were to do parkour, I'd try and set up a course through a long area, that way I wouldn't keep jumping over the same obstacles over and over, looking kind of pointless.
Looks like an excellent place to practice though.
Every time I see a parkour video, I get reminded of Mihail Baratov. He's not doing parkour or anything like that, but god damn, what he does is fucking sick.

Some of those first person shots make really good references for video games.
[Mirror's edge reference goes here]
Very nice work here, I wish there was some place in my town where I could do that, parkour sounds like an actually interesting physical exercise.
I always thought that Mirror's edge had some really jerky and unrealistic first person animations, but looking at your footage here it looks like it was more accurate than I thought. Nice video, and nice skills you have there too.
That was pretty good, my only concern is that the guy with the grey tracksuit bottoms looks like he's just stapled a cape around his legs, im just scared he'll start flying if he goes too fast.

You do that to keep the flow, the momentum is turning you in to a roll as you spin right.

Well I'm not very experienced in Parkour so V:v:V
