Postal, the title is confusing me. Can you stop changing them?
this is the first time I've changed it. Why would i keep the old title anyways when it didn't reflect the proper name of the film? Also no I'm going to change it at least once more, for when the villain is revealed.
It looks like Hugo Strange is becoming a candidate now.
Anyone is a candidate. Anyone except Mr. Freeze, Joker, Two-Face, Ra's al Ghul, and the Riddler.
Anyone is a candidate. Anyone except Mr. Freeze, Joker, Two-Face, Ra's al Ghul, and the Riddler.
I suppose I mean it more in a sense of a favored candidate in the public eye, much like the Riddler was before that was shot down.
Add Scarecrow to that list
And the Joker. Unless it's like Jason Todd super-Joker.
Hugo Strange would be interesting and tie into the second movie's narrative at the end.
And the Joker.
Yeah Joker was already on that list. He's gone.
He said he wouldn't do penguin as he is too unrealistic, add him to the list too. I dont like the name choice The Dark Knight Rises... The 1st movie was Batman Begins, 2nd was The Dark Knight, 3rd should have been something entirley different instead of using Dark Knight again... The Caped Crusader, Gotham Hero... i dunno, something more original
That's good, I wouldn't like them to replace Heath Ledger or do some CGI crap. Although, I thought what they did with that magic movie he was in was cool. He's like the most plausible "super hero" ever.

What was that movie called? I always get it confused with Mr. Megorium's Wonder Emporium and I cannot remember it. [editline]27th October 2010[/editline] Also, another way that is related to comic book movies, the british guy in that is gonna be the new Spider-Man
What was that movie called? I always get it confused with Mr. Megorium's Wonder Emporium and I cannot remember it.
The imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus
Ah yes, similarish titles. That was a really cool film. I can dig it. [editline]27th October 2010[/editline] and oh fuck, Tom Waits - unrelated but awesome.
Shitty title to be honest :/ Still can't wait though.
yeah honestly they could have gone with thousands of other better titles. [editline]27th October 2010[/editline] i dont get why he doesnt want robin. robin can be an interesting character if you do him right
I'm only interested in Robin if he's being killed violently. Or Super-Joker/Robin
The start of the movie should be interesting, what with the whole city now hating him. EDIT: Also, postal, you're a great OP (at least from seeing this one and Inception's one).
not by me: lol. and so the title jokes begin.
Joking aside. That reminds me of old trilogy posters how like the first one would be the beginning of some action, and the next two film posters would complete them. I miss those
The title reminds me of yeast or bread, really.
Well, if he thought The Penguin was too realistic, I dunno why he's doing Batman. He's like the most plausible "super hero" ever.
bad reading bro On-topic, this is going to be fucking awesome. And I can live with the title, fits well in my opinion.

Great, another film I'm really looking forward to that won't be released for years.
Awesome.
bad reading bro On-topic, this is going to be fucking awesome. And I can live with the title, fits well in my opinion.
Oops. My bad. I think Penguin is one of his more realistic enemies. His story is a little silly, but he's pretty creepy and simple.
Nolan avoing penguin because he's too unrealistic confuses me he had a guy running around dressed as a goddamn clown in the last movie
the penguin is a guy born looking like a penguin, how does that compare to someone dressing as a clown.
More info on what they'll be doing with this film instead of 3D. http://herocomplex.latimes.com/2010/10/27/nolan-dark-knight-rises-finds-the-future-in-imax-not-3d/
The commitment to IMAX and high-definition cameras will allow Nolan to avoid the dim-image challenges that come with 3D. He said it will let him take the third film in the series into a new strata as far as image quality and the scale that can be achieved with that quality. ”We’re looking to do something technologically that’s never been done before,” Nolan said. “Our ambitions are to make a great movie.”
kick ass.
the penguin is a guy born looking like a penguin, how does that compare to someone dressing as a clown.
Fat short people look fucking weird in general, that isn't too far fetched that he'd look like a penguin.
