Yeah but this isn't the comics so what happens in them is irrelevant
All three Nolan Batman films have been used specific stories from the comic book universe as references. The Dark Knight Rises uses Knightfall, No Man's Land and The Dark Knight Returns.
Really, they should have went with the version from Arkham City. It's perfect.
[t]http://www.videogamesblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/batman-arkham-city-catwoman-walkthrough-screenshot.jpg[/t] How is that perfect I'd prefer Batman Year One costume to that
I agree with the rest of your points, but I think that the costume is horrible, especially the cowl.
the costume in Begins was the best IMO
A character that works well in comics may not translate well to movies, especially ones based on 'realism' like Nolan's.
yeah because nolan does literal adaptations of the comics he draws from and Two Face turned out so horrible right
yeah because nolan does literal adaptations of the comics he draws from and Two Face turned out so horrible right
Bane and Two Face are completely different, but Nolan's a good director and knows what he's doing, it obviously won't be shit.
Bane and Two Face are completely different, but Nolan's a good director and knows what he's doing, it obviously won't be shit.
how two face came about was taken from a comic (kind of) though... and so is bane... point is nolan is 2 for 2 with his comic adaptations so why doubt now? just because of anne hathaway? get over it
people said the exact same thing about heath and the joker
how two face came about was taken from a comic (kind of) though... and so is bane... point is nolan is 2 for 2 with his comic adaptations so why doubt now? just because of anne hathaway? get over it
Well yeah, I don't think Hathaway is right for the role at all, but I haven't mentioned that once, I'm saying that it will be interesting to see how Bane translates to the big screen and whether it will be successful or not. By the way, I really didn't mean to rate you dumb (not my style in a discussion), I mean to click reply.
if ratings matter that much (they don't to me) you can always re-rate after refreshing. not many people seem to know how to do that anyways, again, nolan has done very well adapting characters from the comics and putting them in movies. i think a lot of people just want more joker and are having a hard time realizing that. my friend said he hoped that bane wasn't just a generic bad guy and didn't just "blow stuff up" and said he wanted it to be more like joker. i pointed out to him all joker really did was "blow stuff up"

I don't want another Joker, I just want a good Bane.
Think of it this way. Even the Joker didn't find out Batman's real identity.
Think of it this way. Even the Joker didn't find out Batman's real identity.
Think of it this way. The Joker didn't care about Batman's real identity.
If he did, it'd probably ruin his fun.
Yeah but this isn't the comics so what happens in them is irrelevant
You realize parts of the story are based on The Dark Knight Rises comic, right?
There's a The Dark Knight Rises comic?
Maybe he means Returns
Ehh, the hype of the dark knight rises still wasn't what i expected. Postal, you said there'll be more hype, but it isn't as much as the dark knight. Honestly, I was hoping for more hype, since its the last.
Think of it this way. The Joker didn't care about Batman's real identity.
Then why did he demand that Batman removes his mask to stop the bloodshed?
Then why did he demand that Batman removes his mask to stop the bloodshed?
Like Butthurter said. Joker's strength is that he isn't weighed down by the normal super villain shit, as Arkham City showed with Hugo Strange, finding out Batman's identity can become an obsession and a weakness.
Postal, you said there'll be more hype
Uh I don't know what you're referring to but people seem to be really excited about it from what I can tell. Or are you talking about the advertising effort to build hype? In which case I've pointed out that it's not the same people who advertised the dark knight and that these guys aren't as good. their first attempt to reveal a the pic of bane got screwed up when people just viewed the websites source code and found the image url lol. anyways it's important to note the closer we get to release the more you're gonna hear about this movie, literally everywhere.

The best part of that look is the short hair under the cowl, and the nightvision goggles. It's practical for her line of work and with the goggles down, conceals her identity. [editline]22nd June 2012[/editline]
"tits lol"
I actually wasn't thinking about that when I mentioned that costume but they are actually also a tool perfect for her line of work. If she's ever caught by a dumb security guard, it could serve as a distraction. Michelle Pfieffer's Catwoman ran into this situation. [editline]22nd June 2012[/editline]
people said the exact same thing about heath and the joker
I was more curious about Heath's Joker than skeptical. I never felt it was wrong or wouldn't work.
AC suit is not functional in the least nor does it conceal her identity at all AC suit is meant for 15 year olds to fap to so the game can sell more

You could clearly see TDK had alot more people around talking, like the hype of the avengers. But I've a feeling Heath Ledger's death somehow helped it.
We're still a month away from release, but no shit people are talking less than with TDK. Heath Ledger's death played a huge role in awareness for that film. The adverting campaign doesn't need to be as big, this is the sequel to The Dark Knight. Every online poll i've seen has everyone voting this as most anticipated summer movie. I haven't seen anything that suggests they need to advertise more, honestly. I still don't understand what post of mine you were referring to, though
But can it win over the avengers? I mean, everyone had like fucking high expectations for avengers. I swear, it seems overhyped.
