my friends that work at the local AMC just posted this man of steel trailer ooo can't wait for wednesday
A superhero movie that's being made by both Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan? I'm not sure whether to be aroused or uninterested.
A superhero movie that's being made by both Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan? I'm not sure whether to be aroused or uninterested.
Apparently from the footage they showed at comic con it's not got ANY of Zack's generic touch to it.

Went to pick up my tickets for TDKR, but it turns out my credit card had been cancelled for some reason.
You mean they're those prop buildings that're just wooden walls painted like an IMAX?
pretty fucking much i've got a real imax ~30 minutes away (thank you jordan's furniture) and it's a pretty easy drive. there's a digital imax an equal distance away, why the fuck would i go to that?
I hope the theater I'm going to is True Imax. My family is going on vacation when the movie comes out and there is a supposed Imax theater in Pensacola.

Hype is a terrible thing for films, lower your expectations for a better experience.
Although Nolan is the producer, apparently he has creative input.
Zero slow-mo.

They'll be showing this in it during the premiere AND I'M GONNA SEE IT.
Rotton Tomato watch. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_dark_knight_rises/ 35 reviews so far...32 fresh, 3 rotton. It's currently sitting on 91% And the first bad review has a record breaking 861 comments! But as stated it the three bad reviews, it was ruined by overhype, not because it was a bad movie. So lets see how that goes.
One of those people who reviewed pretty much hates anything last time I checked, unless its Adam Sandler.
Although Nolan is the producer, apparently he has creative input.
Yep. Apparently Superman feels just like Batman Begins. Hyper realism. It makes Superman seem even more fantastic and super.
Tickets booked, this will be the first time I've ever been to a midnight screening. Keen as all hell at the moment, one more sleep.
Can anyone explain to me what exactly is so special about IMAX? Is it just a bigger screen?
Can anyone explain to me what exactly is so special about IMAX? Is it just a bigger screen?
bigger screen, crisper picture, sound quality gets a humongous boost. Its generally just higher quality in all aspects imaginable.
Can anyone explain to me what exactly is so special about IMAX? Is it just a bigger screen?
IMAX footage has a resolution of approximately 10,000x7000.

I showed up rather late and there were two lines around the building. The Dark Knight wasn't fun sitting in the front row.
Can anyone explain to me what exactly is so special about IMAX? Is it just a bigger screen?
Can anyone explain to me the difference between dvd and blu-ray ????
Okay so I just finished watching Batman Begins to get me pumped up, and all I can say is more batcave!. The batcave was absolutely badass in this movie. I know he burnt his house down and everything so they couldn't really do much with it in The Dark Knight, but damn I hope they make up for it in this one.
Well aren't they in the process of rebuilding Wayne Manor and obviously The Batcave?
Don't you hate it when a movie that's doing really well on the Tomatometer drops below 90%, even if you expect it to go back up? It's at 84% right now, and I'm like "no, go back to the 90%s, you don't belong down here"
What the fuck, Dark Knight stayed at 93% for the longest time.
Can anyone explain to me the difference between dvd and blu-ray ????
I actually do know people who can't tell the difference between HD and SD; I have yet to figure that out.
