I CAN FINALLY READ MY OWN THREAD

[sp] There's no evidence that Bane is dead. None.[/sp]
[sp]lmao he got shot with basically an rpg do you really think he'd be ok[/sp]
AGREED
[sp]Um, they show Bruce reaching into the truck, what did you think he was grabbing? Gordon's glasses?[/sp]
[sp] Happy ending =/= Good Ending. I wouldn't say I dislike the ending itself, I just really wish it went another way. Batman sacrificing himself for Gotham is more heroic than just putting away the costume imo. [/sp]
[sp]The only thing I really disliked was how quickly Bane was killed.[/sp] And you don't need to do this =/= nonsense to explain something.
I applauded when [sp]Bane broke Batman's back[/sp]
ok
[sp] Considering Morrone was dropped three stories and only broke his ankle, Bats fell five stories and got a kidney owie and Joker was simply dizzy after having a twenty ton semi fall on him cab first, I make no suppositions. He absorbed multiple blows from Batman's exoskeleton that broke reinforced concrete without even breaking a sweat or grunting, and punched several holes in reinforced concrete and rebar himself with NO damage. The film went out of its way to show how not normal he was.[/sp]
[sp]The only thing I really disliked was how quickly Bane was killed.[/sp] And you don't need to do this =/= nonsense to explain something.
Would you rather me write out "does not equal" instead? We're having a friendly discussion on our opinions on the film. No need to get testy about little writing styles mang. Also: [sp] Talia's death was corny as balls. [/sp]
[sp]The only thing I really disliked was how quickly Bane was killed.[/sp]
Agreed, agreed, agreed. [sp]He was way more important through the whole movie than Talia and having her get the death slow enough to have a fitting end over Bane was senseless[/sp]
[sp] Considering Morrone was dropped three stories and only broke his ankle, Bats fell fifve stories and got a kidney owie and Joker was dimply dizzy after having a twenty ton semi fall on him cab first, I amke no suppositions. He absorbed multiple blows from Batman's exoskeleton that broke reinforced concrete without even breaking a sweat or grunting, and punched several holes in reinforced concrete and rebar himself with NO damage. The film went out of its way to show how not normal he was.[/sp]
[sp]this is silly but fyi it's the final film for this series, he was hit with an rpg, if the last we see of him is him flying against a wall after getting hit by something that destroys cars then the obvious assumption to make is he's dead. but if you really want to believe they'd have him survive that for no reason when there isn't gonna be a batman 4 then knock yourself out[/sp]
[sp] I'm simply not making suppositions, period. Whether he's alive or not is immaterial to the rest of the movie, but the responses are simply pointed at people going OMG HE WENT OUT LIKE A CHUMP, when there's not much evidence he went out at all, because it no longer matters. [/sp]

anybody else noticed how after every batman movie [sp]there's always a discussion about the bad guy somehow surviving, and it continues on until either the next movie or a cast interview says otherwise? Hell, i remember when people tried to say they could see Ras rolling out of the train lol. Nolan sure doesn't like to spell things out sometimes.[/sp]
[sp] Bane was kinda reduced from this evil unkillable mastermind to Talia's attack dog. His death was anticlimactic as cock. He was a truly menacing character though. I liked him. [/sp]
I like to think that [sp]Bane is still alive, working out of Gotham in the way the villains work in the comics, and Blake, taking up the pseudoym Nightwing (I highly doubt that he would use Robin since it is his first name) is now fighting him and whoever else remains terrorizing Gotham.[/sp]
They use lots of different cities, in TDKR it was mostly New York and Pittsburgh IIRC.
Well yeah but the skyline shots pretty much made it out that Gotham is the equivalent of Manhattan.
oh and yeah [sp]turns out that plot leak way back actually WAS true. Wish I didn't read it now but I probably would've figured out miranda wasn't who she said she was anyways. I still wasn't sure it was legit until she finally stabbed batman, so it wasn't a total waste, unlike the people that saw set pics of her getting into a tumbler lol. that really gave it away more than yet another random internet rumor[/sp]
i like to think that [sp]there arent going to be any more films what does it matter[/sp]
[sp]yeah until a few years from now when we get ROBIN BEGINS directed by michael bay lol[/sp]
[sp]nightwing begins: bat harder[/sp]
i like to think that [sp]there arent going to be any more films what does it matter[/sp]
Because even though it's non-canon and won't ever be I still like the idea [editline]20th July 2012[/editline]
[sp]nightwing begins: bat harder[/sp]
[sp]the dark nightwing 2: killer bats on swarm[/sp]
[sp] The mark on her back and the accent kinda gave it away anyway. [/sp]
[sp] The mark on her back and the accent kinda gave it away anyway. [/sp]
[sp]yeah along with her being mysterious about her childhood while appearing to be miss goody-two-shoes. I totally would've guessed her having the detonator, but for awhile I really thought nolan changed it to make Bane the son of Ra's[/sp]
i like to think that [sp]there arent going to be any more films what does it matter[/sp]
Well no more Nolan films but there's the reboot. All the info we have so far -It'll be released in 2015/2016. -It's inspired by Rocksteady's videogames ("Arkham Asylum" and "Arkham City") and Batman's titles in the New 52. -It'll be more adventurous than Christopher Nolan's grounded approach. -It'll be part of a DC Cinematic Universe leading up to "Justice League". -The Court of Owls has been mentioned as the likely antagonist. All I hope is that they don't make us go through his damn origin story again. Almost everyone knows Batmans backstory.
didn't stop amazing spiderman from showing it to us yet AGAIN justice leauge movie needs to fuck off. it's too soon for it and for another batman reboot.
Is it wrong that I have my fingers crossed for [sp]Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Batman in those upcoming movies?[/sp]
I can imagine it seeming as if [sp]Tahlia came out of nowhere to people who have no idea who she is. It's nice that she was included, but to people who only know Batman from these films it'll feel like they pulled the plot twist out of their asses for the sake of having a plot twist[/sp]
[sp]yeah along with her being mysterious about her childhood while appearing to be miss goody-two-shoes. I totally would've guessed her having the detonator, but for awhile I really thought nolan changed it to make Bane the son of Ra's[/sp]
Thus is the power of Nolan.
i think it would have been neat if [sp]there was no cut to bruce at the end and just left it at Alfred's smile[/sp]
Just got back from this. I thought it was great.
didn't stop amazing spiderman from showing it to us yet AGAIN justice leauge movie needs to fuck off. it's too soon for it and for another batman reboot.
To be fair, The Amazing Spider-man was pretty different from the Raimi movies. Although, they should wait a good 20 years before doing any more Batman movies. [editline]20th July 2012[/editline] Also, did anyone else find it mildly humorous that Matthew Modine, who played Joker in Full Metal Jacket, was in this?
i think it would have been neat if [sp]there was no cut to bruce at the end and just left it at Alfred's smile[/sp]
That would've been neat but too open? (Inceptiony) To be honest I was perfectly happy with the ending, one of the only times a trilogy ending has. Great film. [sp]also talias death seemed like awful acting[/sp]
