I've not played this game but I'm assuming that since this guys like missing his jaw we're saying that's what Bane wears his mask for?? that's not the case at all He wears the mask in the comics to receive a constant supply of Venom, the drug that makes him so big and powerful as well as making him very resilient to pain/increase his healing rate
Bane doesn't use Venom in this film.
I'm not surprised that it wasn't as good as Dark Knight. The second part of a film trilogy is almost always the best, but the last is always the warmest and happiest in terms of endings. Just look at Star Wars!
Bane doesn't use Venom in this film.
yes I know I said that. "He wears the mask in the comics to receive a constant supply of Venom" Venom was in the comics but in the film it was just to supply drugs to stop him feeling pain. I said that in the spoiler.
Just saw somebody on Youtube suggest a better ending would be: [sp]if Alfred is in the cafe and looks up and it cuts away so we don't see if Bruce is alive or not[/sp] I'd like that. Specially if he has a wry smile. People would debate forever.
That would be too Inceptiony in my opinion
Yeah, [sp]the story needed closure. That wouldn't fit in well. Nolan wanted this to be the end, and leaving it ambiguous would be very much against the point.[/sp] While it would be a good scene, it wouldn't really work with everything else.

I literally would have vomited anger if he went with that ending. Like, that's almost bad enough to besmirch the rest of the series, just knowing it's going to end with some "deep" and "mysterious" cocktease. [sp]Besides, they'd need to get rid of the "oh yeah, the autopilot was fixed months ago" scene if they wanted to keep it a mystery.[/sp] [sp]The only thing I would change about the ending is change Blake's name from Robin to Terry.[/sp]
movie woulda done a lot better without Anne Hathaway and catwoman in general i feel she didn't really add anything and was kind of cringeworthy still really good
em [sp]she fuckin saved batmans life[/sp] for one thing thats pretty important I think!! And she was very well played and cast I think. Despite being a pretty campy character she still felt down to earth and realistic, she was handled well.
Holy fuck I am so thankful that Nolan repressed the mediocre part of his brain that gave us Inception.
Why is almost everyone on the internet so militantly hateful towards inception? I fucking loved inception.
[sp]so i pretty much know going in that batman is going to die at the end[/sp], i'm gonna keep myself on a blackout so i don't know how it happens, cause that would really fucking spoil everything for me. i'm guessing this film is a brilliant end to the trilogy?
em [sp]she fuckin saved batmans life[/sp] for one thing thats pretty important I think!! And she was very well played and cast I think. [sp]But she was the only one who could take him to Bane.[/sp]
he could have written anyone to do that rather than her though Gordon Blake anyone
Except those two were busy doing other things at that time...
Why is almost everyone on the internet so militantly hateful towards inception? I fucking loved inception.
I didn't HATE it, I just thought it was totally average, and when everyone around me was telling me how "deep" and "mindblowing" it was, I walked out disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it's not BAD, I just thought it was okay.
Then sucks to be you is all I can say
Except those two were busy doing other things at that time...
because obviously I meant to keep the exact same script whole omitting catwoman.............................
Why is almost everyone on the internet so militantly hateful towards inception? I fucking loved inception.
where are you getting 'almost everyone' from? I almost never see people bitch about it and it's still 15th on imdb.
Also the ending was exactly like [sp]The Iron Giant[/sp] lol
[sp]SUPERMAN[/sp] wait no
Bruce Wayne basically pulled a [sp]Ra's al Ghul.[/sp]
Also the showtime i watched had some audio problems I thought they sloppily cut out the inane "YOURE A BIG GUUUY" line before it happened elsewhere Bane was just awesome. When he [sp]broke batman's back[/sp] I was all giddy and shit from the reference. That whole scene was great. Also seeing [sp]scarecrow again[/sp] was nice
Just saw somebody on Youtube suggest a better ending would be: [sp]if Alfred is in the cafe and looks up and it cuts away so we don't see if Bruce is alive or not[/sp] I'd like that. After seeing the movie twice, I think there's only one line that bugs me. [sp]When Batman approaches Bane during the final assault, Bane says "Ah, you've returned to die with your city!" I like that line, but they had to give Batman the lamest line ever: "No....................I came back to stop you!" All the awesome things Batman could have said...and they give him THAT? C'mon.[/sp]
anyone else think that bane's voice was annoying throughout the film? not the gritty sound but how his pitch/style was
I loved the movie from start to finish, but I couldn't help but laugh my ass off at this bit: *mild spoiler alert*
[B]WHERE WERE THE OTHER DRUGS GOING?
Regarding what he said, Nolan has said in interviews I saw that the studio didn't ask him to do anything. It was all fake rumours. Four months after Dark Knight released he had his sequel idea involving Bane and asked if he could do another Batman. [editline]24th July 2012[/editline] [sp]What I liked about Robin, I've said it before, he was Robin. He wasn't some dude that became Robin. He was a sidekick the whole time and right at the end they're like "Hey that was Robin by the way, his name is actually Robin. He IS Robin". The Robin reveal was just as exciting for me as the Ras and Two Face reveals in the previous films. The Talia one was heavy handed and uninteresting. She lost the most interesting part of her character, that she is deeply in love with Bruce.[/sp] [editline]24th July 2012[/editline] [sp]What's best is Nolan said "I will never do a sidekick in my movies" and yet I'm watching Batman run around on screen helping cat woman kick ass and not once did I think "This is a sidekick, Robin is possible"[/sp] [editline]24th July 2012[/editline] Fun fact: Hathway initially thought the was auditioning for Harley Quinn and prepared a walk, skip and laugh for the audition. She'd suit that role nicely. She has that ditsy quality naturally and a massive fucking smile. The fact she prepared a skip instantly shows she really knows Harley. Wonder if she is a big batman fan. When she found out she was going to be catwoman she was hesitant and she felt it'd been done perfect in the serials yet still had some idea of how to play her straight away. [editline]24th July 2012[/editline] Just saw somebody on Youtube suggest a better ending would be: [sp]if Alfred is in the cafe and looks up and it cuts away so we don't see if Bruce is alive or not[/sp] I'd like that. Specially if he has a wry smile. People would debate forever. [editline]24th July 2012[/editline] Imagine this [sp]Alfred looks up and sitting on the other table is NAKED BANE standing on the table and wiggling his junk around shouting "When I slap my ass, you have my permission to die" with giant flashing pink lights and macho-man playing. Alfred laughs and says "Cock"[/sp] I am better writer than Nolan
Inception's already been done, and typecasting a director is as stupid as typecasting an actor.

Nolan's farewell to the batman series (and foreward for the upcoming "The Art And Making Of The Dark Knight Rises")
“Alfred. Gordon. Lucius. Bruce . . . Wayne. Names that have come to mean so much to me. Today, I’m three weeks from saying a final good-bye to these characters and their world. It’s my son’s ninth birthday. He was born as the Tumbler was being glued together in my garage from random parts of model kits. Much time, many changes. A shift from sets where some gunplay or a helicopter were extraordinary events to working days where crowds of extras, building demolitions, or mayhem thousands of feet in the air have become familiar.” “People ask if we’d always planned a trilogy. This is like being asked whether you had planned on growing up, getting married, having kids. The answer is complicated. When David and I first started cracking open Bruce’s story, we flirted with what might come after, then backed away, not wanting to look too deep into the future. I didn’t want to know everything that Bruce couldn’t; I wanted to live it with him.” “I told David and Jonah to put everything they knew into each film as we made it. The entire cast and crew put all they had into the first film. Nothing held back. Nothing saved for next time. They built an entire city. Then Christian and Michael and Gary and Morgan and Liam and Cillian started living in it. Christian bit off a big chunk of Bruce Wayne’s life and made it utterly compelling. He took us into a pop icon’s mind and never let us notice for an instant the fanciful nature of Bruce’s methods.” “I never thought we’d do a second - how many good sequels are there? Why roll those dice? But once I knew where it would take Bruce, and when I started to see glimpses of the antagonist, it became essential. We re-assembled the team and went back to Gotham. It had changed in three years. Bigger. More real. More modern. And a new force of chaos was coming to the fore. The ultimate scary clown, as brought to terrifying life by Heath.” “We’d held nothing back, but there were things we hadn’t been able to do the first time out - a Batsuit with a flexible neck, shooting on Imax. And things we’d chickened out on - destroying the Batmobile, burning up the villain’s blood money to show a complete disregard for conventional motivation. We took the supposed security of a sequel as license to throw caution to the wind and headed for the darkest corners of Gotham.” “I never thought we’d do a third - are there any great second sequels? But I kept wondering about the end of Bruce’s journey, and once David and I discovered it, I had to see it for myself. We had come back to what we had barely dared whisper about in those first days in my garage. We had been making a trilogy. I called everyone back together for another tour of Gotham. Four years later, it was still there. It even seemed a little cleaner, a little more polished. Wayne Manor had been rebuilt. Familiar faces were back—a little older, a little wiser . . . but not all was as it seemed.” “Gotham was rotting away at its foundations. A new evil bubbling up from beneath. Bruce had thought Batman was not needed anymore, but Bruce was wrong, just as I had been wrong. The Batman had to come back. I suppose he always will.” “Michael, Morgan, Gary, Cillian, Liam, Heath, Christian . . . Bale. Names that have come to mean so much to me. My time in Gotham, looking after one of the greatest and most enduring figures in pop culture, has been the most challenging and rewarding experience a filmmaker could hope for. I will miss the Batman. I like to think that he’ll miss me, but he’s never been particularly sentimental.”
