WHERE ARRE THEEY KEEPING THE PATIENTS! WHERERR ARRE THEYY!
IMO, the best part of the movie is when Christopher Judge appeared. I had forgot he was in the movie so when I saw him I loudly said "Holy fuck it's Teal'C"
Go ahead. Ruin the movie. I'm astounded of how many in this thread just admits to shouting in the cinema. It's like it's a badge of honor to ruin the whole movie for every one else, to prove your cognitive abilities.
Have a fucking gingerbread and a broken tooth son. you did well!
what the fuck ?!
Tealc was in the movie ?
When ?
Oh wow that was really great of Bale. Especially with no press
Bane as a cooking instructor:
You must first cut the onion, then you have my permission to cry.
Bane teaching the Joker:
You must first put on makeup, then you have my permission to jive.
Others:
You must first rule science, then you have my permission to Nye.
You must first heat the pan, then you have my permission to fry.
You must first grow wings, then you have my permission to fly.
You must first use a coupon, then you have my permission to buy.
You must first get a crowbar, then you have my permission to pry.
My favorite one is
You must buckle up, then you have my permission to drive.
nobody can beat this bane

I was quiet throughout that entire movie because I also hate it when people are loud in the theater, but when he appeared, I couldn't control myself because I got all giddy. I wasn't like the people behind me who genuinely thought that The Hobbit was a new Harry Potter movie and that Gandalf was Dumbledore

I remember this movie being awesome when I was a kid. I'm afraid to watch it now as an adult because I might realize how much of a piece of shit it really is like lots of shows from my childhood

Batman came to the rescue ;-;
i'm glad he didn't do that corny shit they requested and show up in full costume.
i mean think about it, these people themselves were ambushed by someone in costume, some people thought it was part of the fuckin show.
"to visit the victims in full costume to remind them that heros still exist".
what the fuck is that? after donning his costume he's going to go back in time and beat the shit out of the guy who killed all those people?
either way im just glad bale did this, whether he has a heart or not.

It's almost a 'so bad it's good' movie. With more bad. I do like how much Ahnuld hams it up though.
It might just be me, but am I the only one who feels like this movie hasn't even come out yet?
It must be from the fact that the ads have been pulled due to the Colorado shooting. That's a shame.
... do you not live in the usa?
... do you not live in the usa?
1:58 people in this world neither lives on, nor shits a give about USA... "dude"...
Kudos to Bale. He's already been one of my favorite actors all-time, stuff like that just helps solidify it.
Imagine him visiting one of the young kids and he would say
"why didnt you save us batman?"

What could go wrong!
that pretty much sums it up.
i think him showing up in person out of character would reinforce the fact that bad guys and villains like in the movies aren't real. like reinforce that movies are art/entertainment/aren't reality and for the younger ones probably diminishing the possibility of trauma developing. a kind of anti-dissociative gesture making the line between entertainment and reality very bold.
lol this could be a subversive little thing done on someone's part to take the stigma spotlight off the movie. the shooting could have easily been swayed that the movie's ultra-violence promotes violence by some no-brained agenda'd puppet.
this is hilarious
linking it because it's half spoilerish (it pretends to be a clip from the theater), half parody

I loved this movie, I prefer Batman Begins and this one to TDK.
I felt that this one feels more like a sequel to Begins than TDK did.
TDK was repurposed to a Heath Ledger tribute after he died. It was a "The Joker" movie. Or rather, became one...

I highly doubt in the time they had between Heath's death and the movie releasing that all that much got changed or could have changed, and I really hate the conspiracies people make up behind this shit.
TDK was a great movie and you have to get ridiculously critical on it to say it was worse than Begins.

I agree with you, but it's not so much about saying it was worse than Begins, some people just prefer Begins over it.

I know. There probably is a crowd who just genuinely prefer Begins, but the obnoxiously nitpicky TDK haters who just breeze over the other 2 movie's flaws have had an annoying uprising as of late. I just needed to let off some steam.

Also just the general atmosphere

My only real complaint about TDKR is that I feel too much is going on. It barely felt like time progressed around the middle act, and there was too little time to explain or delve deeper into certain things. Still a great movie, and I don't think I could have asked for a better ending.

And just a tad too little Batman in my opinion

Yeah the problem was that [sp]it took him a while to become Batman again, and then he was Batman and it's really cool. But then Bane breaks him and he has to work to become batman AGAIN, and he gets a second "Batman is back" scene. He spends too much time becoming Batman and not enough time being Batman.[/sp]

BANE! Bruce shouts as he climbs a mountain.

The 'Rises' part didn't tip you off to that?
How do I black out text?
[sp]words[/sp]
[sp]The way bane died was kinda anticlimactic.[/sp]
