The 'Rises' part didn't tip you off to that?
Yeah, but by that logic it should have been called "Rises and Rises again". Seeing him have to come back a second time kind of removes some of the weight of seeing him be Batman again. The first time it's like "YEAH BATMAN", but the second time it's like "GOD FINALLY, BATMAN".
[sp]Scarecrow / Cillian murphy cracked me up. What do you pick death or exile?
Death!
ok, death by exile [/sp]

[sp]He didn't really rise the first time. He just became batman again after a long hiatus. There wasn't a huge struggle at that point and I wouldn't call it rising. He 'rised' once in the movie. The first one was just a matter of putting the suit back on[/sp]
Not to nitpick Rusty but "rised" isn't a word, even in quotation marks.
thanks im completely aware of that thanks for pointing out a joke

Yeah I suppose. I just really wish the movie had more Batman in it, considering it's the last in the trilogy.
The finale totally made it all worth it though.
[sp]I know I'm stupid but what was the first movie in the trilogy? Or, in case I'm thinking wrong, what was the other movie besides just "The Dark Knight" [/sp]
He Rose.
hehe

I would've loved a small scene of Batman being Batman like where he dealt with Scarecrow in Dark Knight.

Batman Begins. Not really a spoiler.
I love the small [sp]Scarecrow[/sp] (is that really a spoiler?) appearances in the films. They are quite funny, especially if you don't have memory problems.
Any changes made to TDK after heath's death would have been minor, if even at all. He was always a huge character of the film. And yeah he was fantastic. So was Bale. But Heath really made the film for most people, there's no denying that. I honestly think both performances were great, and very little if anything would have been changed after his death and it wasn't made to be his movie because of it. That's just absurd.
The way I see it, it wasn't as much either actor's performance, but how beautifully they contrasted each other.
I don't really see why Batman's voice gets so much negative attention. Aside from a handful of moments, it never gets too silly, at least for me.
WHERE IS SHE
Yeah I just think Batman's voice is badass, I don't have a problem with it.
[sp] I've heard alot of people pointing out a "plothole", as to how Bruce Wayne gets back into Gotham, or even into America, from that prison hole thingy. Well first off, he has almost two months left until the bomb goes off, thats plenty of time for the goddamn Batman to find his way back to America.
Secondly, I believe in The Dark Knight, or maybe it was Batman Begins, they mentioned that the Wayne Mansion is on the border of Gotham. That, plus as we can see in the ending, the entrance to the Batcave is clearly outside of Gotham. It was in a wooded area, with a waterfall. He could have easily entered into the cave, then into the mansion, then into Gotham. [/sp]
[sp]Has anyone pointed out that the ending of TDKR is teased near the beginning of TDK? Harvey Dent says something along the lines of "Batman won't be Batman forever. He'll die a hero or either see himself turn into a villain. He's probably looking for someone to replace him." That's not word for word, but it's close. It's the scene in the restaurant with Rachel, Bruce, and the woman from the ballet.
I recognize that it's not the exact ending of TDKR, but I thought the two were eerily similar. [/sp]
I highly doubt in the time they had between Heath's death and the movie releasing that all that much got changed or could have changed, and I really hate the conspiracies people make up behind this shit.
TDK was a great movie and you have to get ridiculously critical on it to say it was worse than Begins.
It's not worse than begins. When did i ever state that? It's a sensationally great movie.¨!
fine example of when to pull shit out of ones ass just to hop on the "heath ledger is what made tdk" bandwagon
But he did. Same way as Bane carried the third and Bruce carried the first.

He doesn't necessarily have to get into the [sp]mansion to get back into Gotham. The only way back into Gotham City was the last remaining bridge, which I imagine he probably snuck across using his ninja training.[/sp]
What about the bat-cave being used as a smuggling route?
I'm glad that Bale visited the victims of the shooting.
Now he should dress as Batman and visit the fuck that did it.

Found the scene. Skip to 1:15.

That felt more like the theme of the entirety of Dark Knight.

Nah, he probably didn't want to make this mistake again:

It's ridiculous. I mean, I love the movies (and Bale's performance) regardless, but really. It's ridiculous. It just sounds like he really, really needs a lozenge.
Kevin Conroy did the whole different-voice thing way better. Watch the old animated series, and you'll notice that Bruce Wayne has a warm, philanthropist-y voice, whereas Batman is stoic and serious. It's way more subtle, but also way less silly. (Until the fourth season and the Justice League series, at which point Bruce Wayne and Batman sound effectively exactly the same, but ANYWAYS.)

[sp]except, y'know he gets back with 12 hours left on the clock.[/sp]
I don't know if it is canon for the movies, but batman from the comics has multiple bat-caves all interconnected with tunnels underground.
No, it's not. One batcave and one backup.
I think the explanation for Bruce getting back is simple: He's the goddamn Batman
