Actually there was sort of an implied rape scene. [sp]Talia's mom being dragged away, no?[/sp]
Batman isnt a stranger to implied sex.

What's everyone's opinion on this track on the soundtrack?

except for that stupid remix the soundtrack is good.
I just saw it and holy fuck it's good. I completely missed the[sp]robin[/sp]reference and when I figured it out my mind was blown.
"Figured it out"? It's kind of thrown at the audience, dude. :P
I know I can't believe I didn't realise, I guess I didn't take in what he said.

Harley was always kinda hot. But I guess Joker was really into his calibrations.

Yeah at least the [sp]Killer Croc[/sp] reference was actually really nice though.

Wait, what?
Most likely referring to the age-old urban legend that alligators reside in sewers

I think it was a play on both. For anyone who doesn't remember, [sp]when Gordon is telling the other cop, whose name I can't remember but let's call him detective exposition because that is his role, that there's a masked man in the sewer, exposition says something like "next you'll be telling me there's giant alligators down there"[/sp]

[sp]The reference to Killer Croc was when Blake visits Wayne for the first time to tell him about Gordon's discoveries. Wayne says, "Shouldn't you be telling your superiors?" Blake replies, "They asked me if he saw any giant alligators down there [in the sewers]."[/sp]
I'm not convinced that's a killer croc reference. The whole alligators in the sewer thing is a lot older and more common a saying than that. Besides he didn't even say crocodile, he said alligator. If it were a direct reference how hard is it to change it to crocodile?
Wasn't there a few animated Batman stories set in the Nolan universe and one episode features croc?

Kinda Nolan-verse. I count it. It included a character that later appeared in Dark Knight anyway.
My favourite line was "so that's how that feels" .
I still like the previous Dark Knight Better.
TDKR costume designer details a deleted Bane Backstory scene

who knows if we'll ever see that, though. Nolan DVD's never seem to include deleted scenes.
We'll never get to see this.
We'll never get to see this.
Well, if it's recorded, there's always a chance.

If you want it to be a reference it is, if you don't it isn't. Although the Nolans obviously know about killer croc and surely won't have missed the connection when they were writing.

This is quite relevant to TDKR considering [sp]the ending was pretty much exactly "Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb"[/sp]
Yeah at least the [sp]Killer Croc[/sp] reference was actually really nice though.
For a fun time, mention this on /co/.
Yeah at least the [sp]Killer Croc[/sp] reference was actually really nice though.
When I read this, only then I realized why the talk about alligators...
Oh, and the movie was a fucking blast, 10 out of fucking 10 and a MOTY.
I saw the movie, thought the first hour was too fast paced. I thought Bane was a good villain, besides that I thought the ending was confusing

I really didnt like how they [sp] made Miranda Talia Al Ghul at the last moment.[/sp]
Other than that, I thought the movie was fantastic.
So wait, two questions after watching this movie:
1. [sp]Did Bruce Wayne die? Because I though for some reason that maybe it was just in Alfred's mind that it had happened.[/sp]
2. [sp]What happened to Bayne? Did he just kinda walk out of Gotham or was there a part I missed?[/sp]
So, was it only me that thought that Bane sounded exactly like Daniel Day-Lewis in There Will Be Blood?
"I drink Batman's milkshake. I drink it up!"
[sp]Not only did he fix the autopilot, it's mentioned by people who are listing his assets, presumably to give them to whoever he left them to in his will, that the pearl necklace is missing. He took it and gave it to Hathaway.[/sp]

[sp]I know a few people who'd like to give Anne Hathaway a pearl necklace[/sp]
Thank you and good night.
Come on now, this is a prison full of men who probably haven't seen a woman in a while. What do you think they're going to do to her?
Considering the Plague was going around, I don't think those men would want to gang rape her. Granted, someone of them will probably never see a woman again, but I would think the risk would be too great.
I don't think in the entire film I ever saw Bane eat or drink, I wonder how that works.
1. [sp] He's alive. He fixed the auto-pilot.[/sp]
2. [sp] We see Bane get shot in the face by the Batpod. I think it's pretty clear that he's dead, dude. [/sp]
That's true,
2 Question regarding the previous films though:
Whatever happen to the Joker, if he was in Gotham prison we would have seen him (a another actor representing him obviously)?
And what happened to that monorail train in Batman Begins?
And after the monorail in Begins was destroyed, the city began fighting organised crime, resulting in less poor people so less of a need for such an extensive public transport system. Also it was funded by the Wayne foundation, and Bruce was pretty busy rebuilding his house.
I always wondered what happened to the slums though, the city was a lot less surreal in the two latest movies.
