Boba Fett got better though. Had lots of adventures in the Expanded Universe then went to live on a farm where we can't see him again but is very happy.
That is absolutely retarded.

He married his life partner Dengar and they adopted a bunch of mixed-race Jawa children.
was he killed? i kinda thought since he survived worse things before i assumed he wasn't blown up
i was gonna say i hated bane's voice the whole time, and some of the timeline just doesnt make sense, like how it took bruce like 10 years to bum rides around asia, and it only took him like a week to bum a ride from india-pakastan area (the type of "prison" he was staying in is an indian well thingy i've seen on Nat-Geo b4) to gotham (which is safe to say on the east coast, somewhere south of New York)

Goshdungit not this shit again. Why does it seem far fetched for a pissed off master ninja to get a plane to murrica in like 2 months? I'm pretty sure he even helped the other inmates get out. Inmates that deserved a fate worse than death, according to Bane. Then he just crossed the frozen river into Gotham, like he learned in Batman Begins! Of all the stupid plotholes in the Batman series, people pick on the one that isn't actually a plothole the most.

He's makin' some dolla bills
Looks like TDKR might get Director's cut explaining [sp]Bane's origin and with more Ra's al Ghul[/sp]
Random ass website claims to have insider info on Nolan doing something he's literally never done before. Uhhhh
also i could swear I remember this website spreading bullshit rumors once before
But the difference is here we know there's a ton of stuff actually shot that we've never seen. I doubt a directors cut, but probably cut scenes this time.

We need a Director's Cut with more Batman action.
way too good to be true. nolan never does directors cuts
he's like the anti ridley

There is one way to check, someone email Liam Neeson and ask if he did any more Ra's al Ghul beyond what was shown
Never mind that sounds silly

If I were to email Liam Neeson, it would just be an audio file of me squeeing then a thump as I pass out.
We don't need to. The prop and costume designers were speaking about a bunch of scenes that weren't in the film. Including one with a more in-depth explanation on why Bane wears the mask and how it works while showing earlier versions.
The question is if that content will actually make it to a public release. Which I doubt.
i'd want an optional audio track with the non dubbed bane lines as well, it could go in with the director's cut
i'll pray for it
Call me crazy but I really did not enjoy this film, it felt like it was trying to balance 6 different storylines at once and ended up a huge mess with about 15 minutes of actual batman.
And Bane was just a huge letdown as a villain, his special trait was being really buff and having a goofy mask.

I totally agree. It just felt sloppy all around.
Apparently the Blu-ray release is on the 3rd of December.
Can't wait to get my hands on it.
This is going to be better:

The Blu-ray version? Are you sure? I can't find anything saying it was.

Oh right, Blu-ray. The download dropped earlier, and it leaked before that.

A lot of people, if you ask them, will say they respect Christopher Nolan because of how "deep" his films are.
Not me though.
I respect him because of stuff like this.
I respect him because he so clearly cares so much about the quality of his product to do things like this, things that other directors would just do with CGI and call it a day.
That is my favourite thing about Nolan. His refusal to use CGI. A lot of people say "Damn Inception and Batman are smaaaaaart" and I can't remember who but a film critic or scholar once said "Christopher Nolan makes smart films for stupid people" or something. His films aren't as intelligent and mind blowing as people make out. They're all simple to follow if you actually watch instead of look around the room and play with your dick or something.
The thing is they're just really GOOD stories told in a unique ultra-realistic way with special attention to human emotion. While most directors define emotion as "Love, happy, sad, angry" Nolan actually realises emotion is a broad spectrum and people are always different. That's why he stands out as a director. He makes human emotion worth watching. That's why Alfred made us cry. That's why some of us can't relate to Gordon's choices but understand why he did them. That's why we know that a happy ending is the hero "dying". And his movies are made with such love and care to so many details.
I think Nolan is much better writer than director (not that he's bad at directing).

I don't know what you're basing that on. Hopefully not Batman because Nolan didn't write it on his own. He had a lot of help. I think Batman Begins was mostly Goyer, but where as Goyers work usually fails Nolan brought such a classy level of directing and casting it managed to work. It also has typical Nolan traits such as a hero dealing with issues of self belief and justice. Dark Knight was co written with Nolans brother who wrote a TV series called Persons of Interest which is essentially about a man who fell from power returning to his home city after living in sort of hiding with a beard to use a special machine that sees EVERYTHING without permission from the public to find criminals despite the moral objections from the machines original creator. That's just like Fox's cell phone machine. Which makes you wonder how much Jonathan wrote.
Christopher Nolan's own work is more questionable in writing quality than it is direction. Writing wise Inception was an entire Nolan puppy and it wasn't especially well written. Once you get past the stories gimmick the story is straight forward action movie with some drop dead good actors and directing. You could argue the actors are so good because of being so well directed. This is a rare case of the directing being good enough to hide an average story. Batman Begins was the same thing.
What I'm trying to say is he's a better director than writer. But he's still an interesting and enjoyable writer. Memento is very very good.
