Okay, the Nolanverse is done. It's dead and buried and there was a lovely send-off. Now... Alan Rickman. As Victor Fries. Make it happen, for the love of God.
I think this film could've developed certain characters better, e.g. Foley and Holly Robinson - Catwoman's friend (called Jen in this film). When [sp]Foley died, I didn't really feel much because he didn't seem crucial to the story or to the other characters.[/sp] As for Holly, I think she was vastly under-utilised; her name was not mentioned once throughout the film, nor did we get to see her interact with anyone other than Selina Kyle.

And the film was very long already with the central cast it had.

That trilogy box set looks like fanart. Maybe because it is, I saw it after revealing the first teaser poster.
but you knew it was gonna happen, any trilogy cover (at least for the dvd format nowadays since it's all about blu-ray) is gonna basically be something a fan could shoop in half an hour.
i really don't like this box/poster art [t]http://i.imgur.com/5frvH.jpg[/t] i want them to use the imax poster art, like this mockup i made

Looks like Batman doing the fucking Smooth Criminal lean as Gotham burns. What a dick. [editline]29th September 2012[/editline] Actually he's not even leaning. Just floating about 6 inches off the ground like a dick.

You never catch Iron Man and Superman pulling that shit.
You never catch Iron Man and Superman pulling that shit.
Those guys hover all the time. At least Spider-Man has the decency to hang from a web.
so apparently best buy is going to have some steelbook edition with a making of documentary. is there anything special about the broken cowl edition besides it just being a fancy box? if not i'll go with the best buy one [editline]1st October 2012[/editline] also my university is showing it the weekend of the 18th. sadly the university theater is not an imax
So many different copies, but i am liking this digibook. I just prefer having the villain on the covers for some reason.
Villains are usually more interesting tbh
that one was released with whatever soundtrack came out a few days before the movie
no this one is just slightly different
oh so it is. really slightly though
Finally got to see this. Bloated, overbearing, crammed.... Yet so fucking good at the same time. I don't know what magic Nolan weaved, but he manage to make an epic that by all rights should feel ridiculous, over the top and hammy, but it works and works well. I think TDK is easily the better "film", but I honestly enjoyed this one much much more. Tom Hardy did a fantastic job, I think it's really unfair to compare him with Heath Ledger, since Ledger's performance is just makes it a hard act for anyone to follow. The only issue I really had with the movie was the romance subplots felt tacked on. They sort of materialize out of nowhere. [editline]15th October 2012[/editline] forgot to mention, anne hathaway nailed it, absolutely nailed it. And the costume didn't end up looking as bad as I thought it would from the set pics.
Well, the hype has died down and I still have to say that this is the best movie of the year so far. The only other film that will even hold a candle to it will be The Hobbit.
Eh, Dredd was better.
