I really dislike the decision of having Anne Hathaway as Catwoman... I'm not even liking the idea of having Catwoman in the batman film at all.
http://www.deadline.com/2011/01/anne-hathaway-wins-selina-kyle-role-in-the-dark-knight-rises/ its on deadline. It's legit.
Definitely glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like Catwoman Maybe Nolan can fix that, but I'm not terribly optimistic. I've always hated her character
Damn, I was hoping for Hugo Strange
I'm glad he's not. The new arkham city batman game is all about Hugo, let the movie focus on someone else.
While I was a little surprised to see that Catwoman was going to be in the movie, I am confident that Nolan is going to make it awesome anyway.
friend of mine just posted it on facebook [editline]19th January 2011[/editline]
I really dislike the decision of having Anne Hathaway as Catwoman... I'm not even liking the idea of having Catwoman in the batman film at all.
it was bound to be a chick
What a terrible choice of villains
I have nothing against Catwoman, but I do have something against Anne Hathaway. She should stick to her crappy comedies. EDIT: Slightly dissapointed with having Bane as a villain, but I guess Nolan and Hardy know what they're doing.
Hey, she's a good actress, just typecast into all these shitty comedies. I have no doubt that she'll be good, at the very least better than Maggie Gyllenhaal, who I remain adamant was the low point of The Dark Knight. [editline]19th January 2011[/editline] In the comic books Bane is apparently very smart, but I think Batman and Robin ruined most people's perception of him. I have no idea how Nolan is going to handle Bane so he doesn't look incredibly goofy though.
I expected Catwoman, did not expect Bane. Will be interesting to see how this plays out.

I can see Nolan going down the Bane being incredibly smart route. I'm looking foward to this movie.
i think Nolan has'nt announced the main villan because neither Catwoman or Bane fit the place well
i think Nolan has'nt announced the main villan because neither Catwoman or Bane fit the place well
these are the main villains.
i think Nolan has'nt announced the main villan because neither Catwoman or Bane fit the place well
Joker would be an excel- oh right he's dead.
I have no doubt that Nolan can do both those villains right.
What a terrible choice of villains
I don't see whats wrong with them. Nolan can change them to be any way that will work best for the story.
Bane and Catwoman as the main villains wouldn't give the movie enough screentime, unless something major happens to batman, like getting his back broken. He would then enlist the help of Jean-Paul Valley to become the new Batman as he recovers. However, Jean becomes violent, likely killing Catwoman and Bane, and Bruce has to get him to stop. No 3D, thank you Jesus.
Bane and Catwoman as the main villains wouldn't give the movie enough screentime
Nobody has any idea what Nolan has planned for them. You don't know that.
Actually I take back what I said. At least on Bane. He's actually got loads of potential.
Nobody has any idea what Nolan has planned for them. You don't know that.
If it involves Bane it likely involves Batman getting his back broken.
If it involves Bane it likely involves Batman getting his back broken.
Just because it's Bane doesn't mean he has to break batman's back.
i think that's not all of the villans because remember what Nolan did when he announced Two Face
Actually I take back what I said. At least on Bane. He's actually got loads of potential.
Exactly. Bane's a perfect character.
i think that's not all of the villans because remember what Nolan did too Two Face
He told everyone Harvey Dent was going to be in the movie.
im trusting you nolan!!
He told everyone Harvey Dent was going to be in the movie.
yes but that could've meant he would turn into Two Face at the end of the movie then it would end. Then in the next movie he would be the main villan. that was my theory until i watched TDK.....
Exactly. Bane's a perfect character.
Though he kind of looks like an evil mexican wrestler, so Nolan would have to reinvent him or be ridiculed. Or just have him spend most of the time as a normal guy then have him undergo the horrific transformation at the end. Nolan isn't going to have him looking like that. [editline]19th January 2011[/editline] i wouldn't be surprised if he left out the transforming part entirely
