god not anne hathaway! her face looks so DOPEY
Nolan wouldn't ruin this, he knows what he's doing
Can Anne Hathaway do Catwoman? I've haven't seen her act all that much.
Well, I've never seen her do a real serious role anyway.

It's the mouth. It's huge.
I can see Bane in the films, but have no hopes for Catwoman.

What is it about her that everyone hates. Nolan could change her in any number of ways and we really have no idea what he's got in store, so unless it's just simply a woman as a villain that you hate then I don't see what you're all complaining about.
You can't base what she'll be like (Or Bane, either) off any previous adaptations. The way Ra's All Ghul was portrayed makes that clear.
I think that the reason we're all afraid of Catwoman is because of the Halle Berry Catwoman. That movie killed off any hopes of Catwoman being taken seriously

This.
That movie was horrid.
didn't at the end she had to fight this woman who had like, special make-up on that made her skin like stone? what a fucking bizarre film.
If Nolan can make Batman awesome again after Batman and Robin, he could probably do the same with Catwoman...

Fortunately DC wasn't involved, so their hands are clean.
I am not horribly thrilled about Catwoman, but I absolutely trust Christopher Nolan to handle her right, and I've always loved Anne Hathaway. So it doesn't change much for me.
And I am extremely excited about Bane. He's a fantastic character.
In order for this movie to be absolutely fantastic...
Bane must "Break" Batman.
I'd prefer it if Catwoman wasn't made a LI for this movie but im betting thats not how its going to go down ( i hope )
and in the case of Bane.....Batman: Knightfall nuff said.
Really don't like catwoman, can't help but shake all the bad cat...women? But Nolan i trust to do a good job. Still, i'd rather see Harley or Ivy.
I don't think Harley Quinn would do very well without the Joker in the movie.

Yeah not too mention the last movie was already so focused on the joker they would want to go as far away from that as possible.
Something about the Nolan/Zimmer combo really strikes me as being super badass. You got one of the most creative minds from the filmmaker category and one of the best, if not the best composer of our time, working together? Fuck yeah.
I really am anxious to see what Nolan has in mind for this film as well as anxious to see what kind of tunes Zimmer will think up this time around.

Not to mention the best Joker ever died.

Zimmer is one of the best no doubt.
As captivating as Michelle Pfeiffer, no?
Bane? Hell yes!
As captivating as Michelle Pfeiffer, no?
Michelle Pfeiffer did an excellent job as the deranged catwoman in Batman Returns. The part can be played well, it just requires effort to not make it suck. Which the Catwoman film didn't have.
Ever since watching Bronson I have been in love with Tom Hardy. I think he will be amazing in this.
yea i have no problem with catwoman. it makes sense that he chose her; he's very much trying to make the films as realistic as possible. catwoman is just a realistic character: she doesnt have super powers -- shes just a buttfuck crazy chick that likes cats and cutting people up. same with bane: hes probably just going to be portrayed as simply a really strong dude. a villian like mr. freeze, ivy, etc. just wouldn't make sense, it would be too difficult to make realistic.

michelle pfeiffer is hot but i dont think thats all nolan was looking for when he casted anne hathaway. she very much has the ability to look and act psycho as tits.
[editline]19th January 2011[/editline]
she also has a rather alpha-female vibe to her

without being a butch lesbian

tough yet sexual reerrrrrrr
What about the penguin?
What about the penguin?
I don't think he would really work in these movies.
So...I guess they'll be using crazy makeup methods to transform him into Bane? I read somewhere saying Christopher doesn't want to excessively use special effects.
Nolan isn't going to have him looking like that.
[editline]19th January 2011[/editline]
i wouldn't be surprised if he left out the transforming part entirely
Might still have the venom and super strength though.
Maybe they'll build him a big exoskeleton and model it to look like a big muscular body. Now THAT would put asses in seats in the theaters...
itll probably be like an incredible hulk thing
