One of which is a villain while the other as a romance interest to Bruce. Lets assume Anne's role is of the villain, who's going to get the romantic role?
i think they're better off just sticking with what they got now. Can just have Catwoman be the villain and the love interest
jesus fuck that nolan dude is scary
also lol the last name of one of the trio that came up with the character of Bane is NOLAN. it's a CONSPIRACY
scarlett johansson please she should wear a tight suit and strike a pose after each baddie she knocks out
Oh god yes, and It should be the same suit she wears in Iron Man 2.
i think they're better off just sticking with what they got now. Can just have Catwoman be the villain and the love interest
well blake lively is easy on the eyes. as is natalie portman, but i can't place her as a batman character no matter how hard i try. but Catwoman could very well be a love interest of batman's, seeing as she, well, is in just about all of the universes [editline]20th January 2011[/editline]
Even in the comics Catwoman isn't always a villain.
she's schizophrenic or bipolar or something, i always forget what it is, but she'll do this thing where she helps batman out and then she'll try to kick his ass and then help and flirt and then try to kick his ass [editline]20th January 2011[/editline] in Batman Returns, it's mostly just revenge, and she's sort of good, but it's still revenge so not entirely. in the horrible abortion that is Catwoman, starring Halle Berry, she's also just seeking revenge. but there's no psycho instabilities there, what's Catwoman without a chemical imbalance?
Actually quite a big thing i was hoping Nolan would confirm is if Wayne Manor is going to be in this ( i fucking hope so ) and the final finished Batcave with the Batcomputer and everything ( they could pay homage to Ledger's Joker by having the batcave contain a display of something of the jokers ) totally hope they do it this time i mean the base in Dark Knight was cool but it wouldn't be a complete Batman trilogy without Wayne Manor and the proper Batcave.
something tells me his mansion will be rebuilt by the time the next movie rolls around people will be kind of annoyed if his house is under construction for two whole movies and never gets finished in the franchise
Yeah this is the finale of his origin story. They've got to have the bat cave and his mansion ready for this. At the very least by the end of it.

I can see them doing that.
scarlett johansson please she should wear a tight suit and strike a pose after each baddie she knocks out
The horrible thing is that even I, who would probably masturbate to a seminude picture of her printed in braille on the back of a used condom, found that scene incredibly embarrassing and cheesy. Well, I hate any films that have characters do some stylish moves after beating people, and she was exactly doing this in Iron Man 2. Edited: Unless it's a martial arts film, then it's acceptable.
Well, I hate any films that have characters do some stylish moves after beating people, and she was exactly doing this in Iron Man 2.
Exactly, it looked fucking retarded.

He isn't your typical "suck up to Hollywood tactics and do overrated generic bullshit" kind of director, he makes a habit of making his movies, you know, GOOD.
so did nolan hire a hipster to choose the bad guys?
snip, this was a slowpoke heath ledger joke and somehow it turned into that
It would be awesome if Batman died in this one.
It would be awesome if Batman died in this one.
no it wouldn't that would be the dumbest fucking thing ever
I want Arnold to be Dr. Freeze again, oh please.
It would be awesome if Batman died in this one.
What? No, that'd be fucking retarded.
Why would that be retarded? It seems like a completely logical decision considering the direction the series is heading. Batman Begins(the origin of Batman), The Dark Knight(the rise of Batman), and The Dark Knight Rises(the fall of Batman) Sure, it may contradict the title but I have a strong feeling that he dies in this last installment.
Hmm, Tom Hardy as Bane. I can see that. I half expected him to be The Riddler, kinda like the Joker's protege, if you will.

Batman dying is ridiculous when it's known to be an origin story, he cannot die if he just started being The Dark Knight.

This trilogy is an origin story, not just Batman begins.
So I heard Anne Hathaway is going to be playing Catwoman. I think she is a better choice than Halle Berry but I think the catwoman from Batman Returns was probably the better one. Not sure how good Anne Hathaway is going to be in the role. I don't think she is going to be good but other people seem to think she is perfect for the part. On another note I assume it's going to be a mostly villainous Catwoman. But she has her own motives so at some point during the movie I would assume she is bound to help both sides at one point or another, if not for long. [editline]22nd January 2011[/editline]
Basic storyline of batman: Selina = catwoman/villain, while also remaining as Bruce's esteemed love interest. She doesn't know Bruce is Batman, and likewise. Aka: Alter egos fight each other, normal versions of the characters date each other, Anne is both. (Refer to comics, previous Batman returns movie for further details)
Sounds like Mr & Mrs Smith [editline]22nd January 2011[/editline] Hey I have a question since I've never actually been able to read any of the Batman comics. Was Bane (or the venom he takes I guess) actually created by Poison Ivy? Or is that not canon?

Lets also throw in some Marvel crossovers for good measure!
