The Dark Knight Rises is scheduled to open in theaters on July 20, 2012. At the same time Nolan will be directing The Dark Knight Rises, he and his wife/producing partner Emma Thomas will also be working on the new Zack Snyder-directed Superman film, which will star the newly-announced Henry Cavill and hits theaters in December of 2012.[/quote]

Has anyone else heard these rumors that Robin Williams might be playing Hugo Strange? I don't really think it will happen, but there was that story awhile back where Robin said he would love to be in a Batman movie. Why are people still reporting on that, the guy that made the tweet that started it all has been wrong so many times before, and also he said later that he was just "thinking out loud"

I'd love to see Robin Williams in it but I highly doubt that'd ever happen.

Joker didn't use laughing gas. Nolan has earned our total faith and I'm sure he'll make Bane both realistic and incredible.

Bane is a steroid abuser, calling it now.

well fuck you just know that's the 'inside sources rumor' we're gonna be hearing for the next few months.

I think he did a decent job in Inception, but I haven't really seen any other movies with him in it that I enjoyed

I liked The Lookout.

Nolan should get new actors, as he had, in the past years.

So far it's one new, two returning (not counting ones coming back from previous batman films). Don't really think it's that big a deal, especially since these returning actors are so awesome.

I was really hoping to see Joseph Gordon-Levitt as The Riddler. Or even Ellen Page as Harley Quinn (though it wouldn't really work without the joker :saddowns:)
