We already did get something official. Warner Brothers told us she is playing Selina Kyle, in the same way Aaron Eckhart was only announced to be playing Harvey Dent for the last one. Of course she'll be catwoman. There isn't going to be a film after this (or at least they aren't planning one), there going to go all the way with the characters. [editline]2nd March 2011[/editline] also lol more rumors making the rounds now about the plot: batman and catgirl vs talia and bane and league of shadows and some character Gordon-Levitt will play. Don't believe any of it unless someone actually associated with the film confirms it.
yeah i read that link http://www.badassdigest.com/2011/03/02/the-dark-knight-rises-but-against-whom-major-spoilers i can't say i really care who the villains are. also, this will only be nolan's last batman film, not THE last batman film, now that comic book movies are looked upon in a slightly higher light (thanks to several films).
yeah i read that link http://www.badassdigest.com/2011/03/02/the-dark-knight-rises-but-against-whom-major-spoilers
By far the dumbest part of the article is how the guy that wrote it actually blames Nolan on the fake stories websites have reported on. Yeah that was all totally Nolan's doing.
also, this will only be nolan's last batman film, not THE last batman film, now that comic book movies are looked upon in a slightly higher light (thanks to several films).
yeah i know that obviously but i meant that Nolan isn't making this films with a bunch of sequels in mind, so if they're gonna introduce a character they're going to make full use of them.
Maybe we'll see the Batplane this time around? The Dark Knight Rises!
I am much excites for this film.
I don't know if this has been posted, but there's some claims that the plot has been leaked recently. Remember, this is probably more likely to be a complete lie than an actual plot, but... I kind of like it. [sp]It's nicely returning to some aspects of the first film while still struggling with the problems set up by the ending of the last one.[/sp] Potentially HUGE Spoilers but they might just be another rumor: [sp]According to this shit that is SO NOT CONFIRMED, the plot will reportedly focus on the League of Shadows, a vigilante group led by the daughter of Ra al Ghul (Liam Neeson. You know, the group from fucking Batman Begins. Fuck yeah), Talia (Marion Cotillard). Liam Neeson may or may not make an appearance, but god damn it'd be cool for some flashbacks.[/sp] [sp]Tom Hardy is Bane and will allegedly be Talia's muscle and possible love interest, while Joseph Gordon-Levitt wll play some other villain connected to the organization. Then there's Anne Hathaway who's Selina Kyle, (fuck that, she's fucking Catwoman) and eventually siding with Batman beating some hardcore ass out there.[/sp] Again, I can't stress this enough, probably just a fan who wanted some attention, but there's a slight possibility it could be true. Plus, it's something nice to think about for a while.
I don't want Thalia Al Ghul, and Batman and Catwoman vs. World is baaad idea.
Fuck yes!
http://twitter.com/AnneHatthaway so much confusion over when the actual filming start date is but whatever, apparently the cast is doing filming right now for it instead of in May as was previously reported.
Wouldn't it be great if Liam Neeson returned as Rhas Al Ghul? In some sort of flashback with his daughter or something.
http://www.mtv.com/videos/movies/629466/gary-oldman-talks-about-the-final-batman-film.jhtml?xrs=share_twitter not much is said but whatever here it is anyways
So many Alfreds.
Michael Caine is still the best one.
I like Michael Caine and the 2nd row down 3rd picture, the one with the headphones
Nah, Michael Caine and the Burton one, I don't know his name. He's right above Caine.
Bane = excellent addition. I don't know how many people actually read the Batman series, but because it is so incredibly dark, having Bane in the mix just adds to the awesome.
Nah, Michael Caine and the Burton one, I don't know his name. He's right above Caine.
yeah that's the one I meant, the one right above Caine.
Nah the best Alfred was definitely the LEGO one, he had such a great voice.
yeah that's the one I meant, the one right above Caine.
Why are you posting here, haven't you just lost your mother?
Why are you posting here, haven't you just lost your mother?
There's nothing much more to do, I've spent a lot of time with my dad, but this is something to make me happy and keep my mind off things for a bit too.
http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118034129?refCatId=13 Joseph Gordon-Levitt is confirmed to be in.... I guess. That whole "WB declined to comment" thing makes it seem like this is another ~inside source~ story but Variety is apparently legit enough that pretty much everyone else is seeing this as fact. [editline]19th March 2011[/editline]
Nah, Michael Caine and the Burton one, I don't know his name. He's right above Caine.
Michael Gough. Who unfortunately just died.

He was the son of the Mafia boss in Batman Begins. But still, this isn't a confirmation from Nolan or WB so I'm not going to be 100% convinced until i hear from one of them, or JGL.
Well I'm glad it's not something stupid like robin, hopefully this is real because it sounds pretty good.
Robin? Stupid? Nah, he's cool.
Robin? Stupid? Nah, he's cool.
Maybe Red Hood Robin or The Dark Knight Returns Robin. Everything else is silly.

But I still want Black Mask or Hush.
Maybe Red Hood Robin or The Dark Knight Returns Robin. Everything else is silly.
I dunno, I kinda always liked Robin from the animated series.
Maybe Red Hood Robin or The Dark Knight Returns Robin. Everything else is silly.
Huh?
Huh?
Not sure if he's talking about this Red Hood (animated and comic versions): Or his newer costume, which I think is fuckin' lame, looks like it's straight out of the '60s or something: If you're not sure who that is, he's Jason Todd, the second Robin after Dick Grayson became Nightwing. Jason was believed to have been killed by Joker until he turns up as Red Hood (a name Joker used as a petty criminal before he became Joker). Also
I really don't care for Jason. The other four Robins are probably more likeable and sane.
I really don't care for Jason. The other four Robins are probably more likeable and sane.
I think he's the most interesting out of the lot.
