Ah that guy.
I've been reading a lot of the Batman comics recently(I'm on Knightfall). I think I'm starting to become one of those dudes that dislikes the movies no matter how good they are because they're not 100% representations of the comics.
Anyways, for all of those saying Bane isn't as big as he should be, he's supposed to be as big as Batman without the venom. Except Batman is much bigger in the comics. He's like 7 feet tall and more muscular than Chris Redfield in RE5
The people still complaining that bane doesn't look like he does in the video games/comics/batman and robin still don't get that this is a new version of Bane. Nolan's gonna do whatever he wants with it. Personally I just want a Bane that's an equal to Batman (and as far from Batman and Robin as possible)
But on the topic of the comics, I thought Bane was a scrawny little fuck when he was off the venom? Or are you talking about before he became Bane?

Somehow I doubt he's going to get any bigger than Batman in the film, even if Venom is involved. I'm thinking maybe it'll just increase his endurance, speed, strength, etc, without a physically obvious change.

And I'm one of those people that is thankful that the movies aren't like the comics.
So as they don't stray too far away from the source material, it shouldn't be a problem.

bane was already really buff before venom, venom just makes him a tank. It's possible that venom withdrawal turns him scrawny

It's like Dave Lizewski says in Kick-Ass (the comics): "What works on paper doesn't always work on the screen."
In this case, introducing Bane in the last movie means no back-breaking.

It's the last movie. He could very well end up dead or with a broken back at the end.

it's the last movie in his origins story
he's not going to die
he's just getting started
(in his universe that is, there won't be any more films)

It's unlikely but not impossible that he'll end up dead or at the very least incapacitated. It's a realistic approach to the mythos, which means he's not invulnerable. And after the events of the last film, he's at his lowest point, so his next encounter with a dangerous super villain may be more than he can handle.
I guess just based off the title alone that we can rule that out though.

From the title I sorta get an implication that he's gonna get beat down, then 'rise' back up
Or end up with a broken heart. Again.
What people think is that Bane is just this massive juggernaut. What they dont understand is that he is a fucking genius. During the Venom saga, he fucked around with Batmans head and is crazy smart in his tactics. Add tom hardy as a devilishly smart and buff bane and you have a perfect match :D

Or he's going to redeem himself for Harvey Dent's death?
Could just have Batman get the shit beat out of him by Bane early in the film > movie jumps a couple of weeks forward (while we maybe see Bane create havock) > Batman is ready to finally catch and outsmart him.

Pay homage to the fact that Bane breaks Batman's Back?
The Dark Knight Rises
Matthew Modine's character - previously revealed to be named Nixon - is reportedly "a politician and a key villain", and that he will be shooting his scenes during the London studio filming. It's hard to know what exactly this all means - hell, there's a half dozen different corrupt mayors and other politicians this Nixon character could be based on - but it might mean we'll be seeing some infighting between this new character and Nestor Carbonell's Mayor Garcia.
Newark Mayor Cory Booker revealed that producers and Warner Bros. representatives met with him about shooting scenes in his city. He also joked that he pitched them on appearing in the movie as Nightwing, but the response to this was tepid at best.
figured that was kinda relevant
a corrupt politician named Nixon
umm
I hate to say this but they might be packing in too many characters into this new film. It seems like if they're all "major" than a lot of these "major" characters won't be getting enough screen time (Venom anyone?). And it could introduce the audience to too much silliness at once.
