The expo is tomorrow, and so far people are claiming on twitter to have seen a poster for The Dark Knight Rises. Wouldn't really make sense, since Inception and Dark Knight didn't get their posters until about 6 months before release, but who knows. Regardless, there's gonna be so more news on this film tomorrow.
Oops i never did update this. I'll get the pics later but long story short, we got fuck all. A drawing or something of batman, but the color was a bit off, showing the suit as silver. People are wondering if this was on purpose or not, personally I don't see a silver suit blending in with the dark very well. We also saw what was obviously a placeholder logo. Just the batman logo with some light behind it, and plain text underneath saying "The Dark Knight Rises" [editline]17th June 2011[/editline]
So a teaser trailer is shown with Green Lantern. You know how these teasers are....text on the screen with "The storm is coming to Gotham" and then a release date. They're all over YouTube so quickly watch it before they get taken down.
Wow really? I thought the teaser was gonna be with Harry Potter. That's a surprise. Maybe it still will be, though. [editline]17th June 2011[/editline]
How about giving us one This film better be as good as the Dark Knight, I didn't really like Batman Begins
Thanks, adding to OP [editline]17th June 2011[/editline] Actually, a lot of people seem to be claiming that is fake. I'm gonna wait until I know for certain.

I like how these three Batman movies have their own colour-theme. First one had orange, second one had blue, and by the looks of that teaser trailer, third one will be red.
No content whatsoever in that trailer. [editline]17th June 2011[/editline]
I like how these three Batman movies have their own colour-theme. Thanks. [editline]17th June 2011[/editline] I guess it's back to hoping for a teaser attached to Harry Potter
Fuck that I only know blue red orange brown black white green :colbert: and grey
The second one wasn't blue, it was more like Pthalo blue. :v:

Well that's good. I hate teasers, especially if they're in a theater. And I rather liked the blue-ness of the Dark Knight, I'm hoping it makes a return (rather than switch to another color)
I hope it takes the concept further rather than rehashing The Dark Knight.
Ok fine. I can see how Scarecrow caused the first color filter, and Joker the second. But what would be the third? When I think of Bane I think green (Venom).

Green reminds me of more like Riddler.
Also I'm not fully onboard with the name of this.
Also I'm not fully onboard with the name of this.
Yeah it's like the second movie but 'Rises' added to the end. I'm someone could've came up with a better name.
Also I'm not fully onboard with the name of this.
He accepts that he is the Dark Knight, that Gotham will always need him, and rises from the low point he is at in the end of TDK? That's what I got from it.
Also I'm not fully onboard with the name of this.
I agree, I've heard too many puns on the title. [editline]18th June 2011[/editline]
He accepts that he is the Dark Knight, that Gotham will always need him, and rises from the low point he is at in the end of TDK?
He accepts that he is the Dark Knight, that Gotham will always need him, and rises from the low point he is at in the end of TDK? That's what I got from it.
So you like everyone else, thinks it is just going to be a sequel of The Dark Knight rather than a carrier of the new series. That's pretty obvious from the title.
So you like everyone else, thinks it is just going to be a sequel of The Dark Knight rather than a carrier of the new series. That's pretty obvious from the title.
Yes, that is what I thought, and think. Despite what the producers have in mind, it's still the end of Nolan's trilogy, so yes, from a plot-wise perspective that is what it means. The three films account for the beginning of Batman, and his transition to the Dark Knight, a title which at first he only reluctantly accepts, but then comes to realize is his place in Gotham, as also indicated by the title. It sets the foundation for the universe. [editline]18th June 2011[/editline] Also, you seemed to have it pretty well figured out despite saying that you didn't fully get the new title?
Also, you seemed to have it pretty well figured out despite saying that you didn't fully get the new title?
What I actually meant was that it's not very good. :smugdog:
I agree with the name. The first movie was called Batman Begins, the 2nd was Dark knight, it should have been something entirely different. I was hoping on "The caped crusader" or something :(
"The caped crusader"
that's the worst title possible. this isn't a campy adam west flick

I went to wollaton hall at the weekend with my dad, they have a tree surrounded by fences for filming, a giant floor of metal sheets for where the filming crew will eat and inside the house there were rooms that you couldn't go in as they were building props for the rooms, there'll also be over 90 security guards as of tomorrow for filming....
that's the worst title possible. this isn't a campy adam west flick
Google it and not a single camp picture comes up, anyways that was just an idea as that was one of his nick names. Also how does "Bane of the Bat" sound :)
Also how does "Bane of the Bat" sound :)
Just awful
Let's just call it Batman Begins 3 to fuck with people.
"The Batman" should be sufficient
