Amateur footage of a car chase between batman and the Gotham police force (spoilers?):

Eh, not really a spoiler since he is a wanted man. Batman.
Yeah apparently some major spoilers or something are starting to make the rounds (as usual). I'd stay off the IMDB page if you want to remain in the dark since it shows the titles of the articles on the right and some sites aren't as nice with spoilers as others and will straight up put the spoiler in the title. And obviously it's not known for sure if it's real, but still, if anyone wants to discuss them just use spoiler tags.

Major spoilers, don't click this:
[sp]Apparently, Bane will break the Batman.[/sp]
oh new page quoting this:

I really should stop reading spoilers about this movie.
It's just going to ruin any surprises when I watch it.
Shame that it's all getting leaked like this, I really need to avoid these. I went into the Dark Knight expecting a really bland Batman movie (didn't care for BB) and not know anything about it and it was instantly one of my favorites. Ugh so tempting to click that spoiler tag
Shame that it's all getting leaked like this
Eh, that's the same thing everyone said about that leaked plot with Talia, and we all know how that ended up. We won't know for sure what really leaked until we see the movie.

Apparently the [sp]reporters in the cane scene yelled something like "Mr.Wayne, where have you been all this time?" So I guess it does happen[/sp]

There was a "leaked" plot about her? I always thought it was just stupid rumors. Ehhhh more spoiler tags
But we do know that all this footage shot by random people is real (even if it doesn't give much of the plot away). I feel I should stay away from that too
There was a "leaked" plot about her? I always thought it was just stupid rumors. Ehhhh more spoiler tags
It was a stupid rumor and pretty much every part of it has been disproven already.
Just an FYI but if time-frame comparisons between this and the Dark Knight are anything to go by (so far they have been) then expect the full trailer to The Dark Knight Rises to premiere December 16th in front of Sherlock Holmes 2. Fitting since the full trailer to Nolan's last film premiered in front of Sherlock Holmes 1.
WB has only two movies opening that month and the other is a romantic comedy so yeaaaah.
Welp wasn't really planning on seeing SH2 in theaters but suddenly I've changed my mind
Well that's surprising. Despite the tons of advertising for The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises still got the user voted award for most anticipated movie for the Spike TV Scream Awards. The awards show is Tuesday night, no clue if they'll be showing any new footage or something but it's not likely.
I still don't think Dark Knight can make more money than Avengers in the box office, though. Those 3D showings are gonna make Avengers tons of cash.
Won't TDKR be in Imax though? I'm going to shell out / drive as far as I have to to see it there, I'm sure others will do the same. I think it can make more if it's as good as TDK was since that made a shit load
Plus some of the Avenger character movies were really eh, and the line up of characters isn't that great. I think people also realize putting too many super heroes in one movie has the potential to be a major fuck up (that sort of stuff is better for shows imo).
Also what awards show
I think there will be enough hype for the new Batman film to beat the Avengers in the box office.
Yeah, Dark Knight Rises will have Imax showing, but avengers will have 3D Imax showings. That 3D ticket price is gonna push it into the lead. I guess I could be wrong but I'd be surprised.

Also what awards show
oops lol. spike tv scream awards. Yes I know, the show isn't a big deal but it's still a good indication of early user interest and interesting to see Dark Knight come out on top despite the lack of advertising compared to the avengers.
Why so serious?

FUCKFUCKFUCK
YES. I'd pay Mark to read every Joker line from that film and dubb it in for laughs.
Hans Zimmer's next soundtrack/score for the new movie will probably pull in enough hype to beat The Avengers. After the grammy he won from the last movie and Inception afterwords, it's mouth watering.
(in after desperate over hyping)
I don't think Zimmer alone will do it but yes he is amazing especially when paired with Nolan (not to say his other work isn't as good, Sherlock Holmes was great)
imo hans zimmer is nothing more than a background music kind of guy. he writes good stuff, it just doesn't get used as much in the movies as it should (let's be realistic, how much did you pay attention to the music in the batman films? all you really know is the credits song).
Uh no i pay attention to Zimmer's music in the batman films a fuck ton. I absolutely love that shit

Listen to "why so serious" and then re-consider your post. I pay attention to all of the music, and yes film scores are like "background music" but Hans puts most of his effort in using music to support the plot and help tell the story.

The whole track is excellent material (beginning is Newton-howards stuff) but the fear theme that starts at 4:00 and when slowed down is one of the most chilling melodies I've ever heard.
Not to belittle TDK's or BB's soundtrack or Zimmer's other work but imo his best was definitely with Inception. That being said Zimmer's music just fits so fucking well and is so fucking epic. I wish (I don't know if it exists) there was a version of the opening scene of TDK without the music. It would just be so much less...
Have some TDK.

I'd have to say Zimmer is probably my favorite composer. Bear McCreary (BSG) is really good too. Also his name is Bear.

Background music? No, background music is something subtle being quietly played in the background, something Hans Zimmer's music definitely isn't. I always remember some of the score when I walk out of a movie.
I actually fucking BOUGHT the soundtrack right after I walked out of the theater!
