Wow, I'm surprised at all the directors that have done the MI franchise. Brian De Palma, John Woo, J. J. Abrams. I hate J. J. and he made what I consider the best one. This new guy, all he's done is animated stuff, although I enjoyed all of those films. Think he can pull it off?

the imax cinema in my city made no money for 9 of the 10 years it was open so they've removed the 70mm projector and replaced it with a digital one so they don't have to pay the licence fees
shame, I only watched films there a few times but it was always fucking amazing (and they have replaced it with one of the 4K projectors, so I guess that's something)

So I've never been to an IMAX movie, hopefully Sherlock Holmes 2 will be worth it (since the prologue is showing with that right?). Also probably gonna see TDKR in IMAX

Don't worry, it's just a synopsis, much like you'd find on the back of the DVD cover.
It's also a really fake looking rumor. Some random website gets the official synopsis? Yeah sounds like the start of every other fake rumor we've had.

Well the prologue will be higher quality then. Is the next MI shot in imax? I just want to see either, but I'm leaning a little bit more towards Sherlock since it doesn't have Tom Cruise in it
Looking on google yeah it looks like MI will have some scenes being shot with Imax cameras.

Seems to me like not really. What average movie tickets are like 8 or more, tack on a few extra bucks for 3D bullshit. I think Jordan's are $11.50 could be wrong (and they always have the film imaxes not digital)

No I mean at regular theaters they charge more than regular tickets so going to see a 3D movie at a regular theater is probably the same price as going to see regular at IMAX
