I know many are excited purely on the basis of them being a fan. Looking at it realistically I'm quite iffy about the upcoming Batman (btw I loved the 1st and 2nd Batman film - recent ones).

The cast is a laugh! I mean Anne Hathaway??? This ain't no chick flick or love film. I think the addition of her will significantly make a negative impact to the film. People say 'well look at Heath Ledgar' - one or two of his films show him displaying sparks of talent. Anne Hathaway is just pure fail.

I also disagree with bringing Catwoman into the story at all... may as well bring back the comical style of the 60's joker [img]http://angel.fcpages.com/images/joker.jpg[/img]

Recent Batman films have retained a dark atmospheric feel with similar dark characters. Catwoman is anything but dark, more just a flirty rougue.

Holy fuck best 6 minutes ever. Oh my god Nolan just tweek the voice a little and this movie will be fucking perfect. If anyone wants I can describe it in spoiler tags. Also Imax seat rumblers are so amazing (my first IMAX experience, will definitely see the full movie there). The butt rumblers really added to the scene A LOT, go see it in IMAX if you can it really was amazing

Also free T-Shirts. They didn't fill it up so they let us take another on the way out. Bane shirt is L and Batman is XL. It's a small XL and I barely fit into it.

[sp]So first we see Gordon talking about Dent, it appears to be at the service at the end of TDK. Just a few words are spoken. Not an IMAX shot.

Everything else is filmed in IMAX.

A jeep is driving through a field. Armed men and figures in hoods are seen in the car. They pull up to a small private jet where the CIA agents are waiting. The Doctor Pavolo guy gets out of the car and goes with the CIA men, the CIA agents ask if these are his friends and he says no. The armed men say they brought something extra: mercs working for Bane (all in black hoods and hand cuffs). The CIA agent says to quickly bring them on the plane.

Cut to them being the air. CIA agent wants the mercs, still in hoods and cuffed, to talk. He opens the side door and states that only one of them will stay on the plane. He shoves the first guy's head out the door into the air, trying to get him to talk. After he realizes he won't, he fires a bullet next to his head and throws the guy to the back of the plane (like in the plane not off it) but says something witty about him throwing the guy off.

One of the other hooded figures says "Why would you need to shoot a man before throwing him off a plane?" The CIA operative realizes this one is willing to talk, but his voice is weird. Taking the hood off off it is revealed to be Bane. After some conversation where Bane reveals he wanted to be caught, we see a large white cargo plane fly over the small jet. Bane states the next step in his plan is to crash the plane. Bane breaks loose from his cuffs.

Armed men repel out of the back of the white cargo plane and onto the small jet's wings, shooting inside at the CIA (though not killing them?). They attach the jet with some lines to the cargo plane, and the cargo plane speeds up, causing the jet to tilt vertically and the jet's wings to rip off from air resistance. Bane states he needs to find out what the Doctor told the CIA, the doctor claims he said nothing.

Bane jumps down a bit from the back of the plane (remember, now vertical) and the guys on the outside blow the back off. They go inside and they have a body back with them. The Doctor is yelling no please no. They open the bag to show a dead body with some hoses coming out of it, Bane attaches one with an IV to the doctor and starts pumping the dead guy's heart (CPR almost) forcing blood from the doctor and into the dead guy.

As Bane grabs a line and is about to leave with the doctor, one of his henchmen that was captured with him reaches for a line. Bane stops him and says something I missed to him. The henchmen understands and seems very in awe of Bane, asking if they started the fire. I think Bane said yes. The Doctor is still screaming no. The seats are rumbling, the chant we've heart is going on, loud ass drums are going, then Bane pushes a button and the jet drops.

All the sound stops except the doctor screaming. Such an awesome experince with IMAX.

The last shot from this scene is the white plane flying away with all the henchmen / Bane / the doctor flying away.

Then montage from the movie. You see catwoman behind some bars, in costume and not neccisarly jail, but you do later see Anne Hathaway in an orange jump suit in a police car. Quick shot of the Batwing. Quick shot of those armies of extras running at each other. Quick shot of Bane walking in full armor (the fur coat with the metal plate on it that we've already seen). Quick shot of Bane and Batman going to hit each other. Bane carrying around Batman's mask ala the movie poster. And that's it[/sp]

So fucking amazing this description doesn't do it justice, Nolan really shows how different and smart Bane is. Especially considering [sp]Bane planned that all, had some crazy followers that zealously followed him, and his plan worked so well he didn't have to physically intervene even though he's physically a monster, in fact Bane barely moves throughout the scene[/sp]

But yeah only problem is Bane is a little hard to understand but I like it, it reminds you that something is wrong with him and that he's wearing that mask for a reason, not just for funzies or to be a mexican wrestler. Nolan just needs to tweak it a little bit so we can understand him.

Also that chant works really really fucking well with Bane.

Oh also they said the monitored the audience with night vision keeping an eye out for cameras and people to sue. So don't plan on this leaking (but who knows people are clever).
