I keep on forgetting that this isn't comic/cartoon/video game batman. It's just customized body armor with a cape around it and a mask on top

Yeah, the only thing I'm slightly disappointed of, but it's completely trivial, is the batsuit. Sadly, I think we will never see the perfect suit for Batman in real life. At least we have comics and Arkham City for that.

The scene was supposed to be fast paced, so that's why it suddenly jumped from ground to air (why bother showing the take off, who really cares) and the it's the reason for the quick dialog. He was yelling because the door was open / was trying to assert his authority / be intimidating / didn't have control of the situation.
I thought it all worked really well

also bane was understandable bar 1 or 2 lines. i agree it needs some slight tweaking but I don't think it needs much to raise it from 'occasionally inaudible' to 'always audible'

i'm not a fanboy, there are movies better than nolans, but it's hard to look at his filmography and say any of them aren't great. every movie he's done is undeniably great. some are better than others, but he's never made a stinker.

It's weird seeing Batman so... exposed, I guess. Again, this is part Arkham City talking, but I've been watching old Animated episodes too. Batman uses his cape almost like a cloak, constantly a powerful presence in shadows. It seems kind of off having him just out there, without a cape, in daylight.

Even in Batman Begins, the Batman had a much heavier presence. Here - especially in the first picture - he seems almost smaller, thinner. I realize Bale's still really built, but it just looks different.
It'll probably be fine, though. In the first teaser you could tell it's still the same old Batman we know and love.

To be honest i really liked the Begins suit much more than i did the TDK suit.
the begins suit had more of a comic feel to it
