Dark Knight did a lot of dark and messed up stuff in it for being just PG-13, I have faith in Nolan.
Exactly, Nolan knows how to have "darker" content in his movies without you ever seeing it. Like when the Joker slams the guys head down so a pencil goes through his eye.
I have a feeling that we'll be getting a full-on Bat-Blitz after May 4th.
As popular as Batman is, he's not going to go up against the Avengers.
They know this.
Let Marvel have their fun, then BOOM, BATMAN OWNS EVERYTHING THAT'S LEFT.
I'm CERTAIN that a new trailer will arrive within around a month's time (incoming rainbows).
i dont think avengers will be that popular and tdkr has the populartity of tdk going for it. avengers will probably be a really average action flick with horrible writing for the characters
I'm looking forward to both, but I'm pretty sure TDKR will win at the box office.
Anyone else buying a batman suit for the midnight release? I assume it will hype people up and get me to the front of the line.
I thought I'd share this with you guys:

Gosh, lets not start
I think that if you like the brighter comicy type feel, then The Avengers will suit better.
If however, you like a more realistic, less colourful feel to a movie, then TDKR will suit fine
I generally like superhero movies so I'm going to watch both. But I'm biased towards The Avengers because I just love Robert Downey Jr.'s comic brilliance as Tony Stark

:pwn:
I think they'll both be fantastic and I'll be seeing both opening day.
I think TDKR Is better because batman
and because nolan
batman does not make a film good (looking at you batman and robin)
Batman will DEFINITELY be a better film, but The Avengers may be a little more enjoyable, because it's made purely for that.
Who gives a shit? There's two months between the films, not like it's gonna affect their intake. Now, I'd be more worried for Spider-Man, considering that opens almost the same time as TDKR.
"Batman or Avengers, well I LIKE THIS ONE MORE..."
NOOOOOOOOOOPE.
batman is objectively better than anyone in the avengers

well, if we want to get REALLY technical here...
I mean, in the comics, Hulk LITERALLY broke the planet in half...

Batman breaks your face in half

are u trying to say the hulk is something other than one of the most boring and unliked comic book heroes ever?
No, like if Hulk and Batman fought, then Batman would be squash.
Rusty says batman is better therefore it must be truth my opinion is invalid
I hate these discussions, where someone says The Avengers is better than The Dark Knight Rises and the other way around. Or that it sucks compared to this and this...
I've seen almost every Marvel movie and I'm really pumped for The Avengers and can't wait to see it. I know it will be good, I have faith in Joss Whedon.
But can't you love both? The Dark Knight Rises will be awesome for me, because Nolan makes it and it will be different like The Dark Knight, I want to know how it ends, because it's really unpredictable, if Batman really dies and more.
The Dark Knight is one of my favorite comic adaptions and one of the best movies. But I also count, for example Iron Man 1 into it.
The Avengers will be epic because it will be like the comics. Maybe it won't have a great story, because they are real comic adaptions and the comics back then were meant to let the good guys always win. But to see the whole Avengers team fighting together against the evil will be pure nerdgasm.
The Dark Knight Rises will be semi realistic like the previous two. Having it darker and much more serious makes it different and better in its own style. That's why I'm gonna see both movies. Because both are different in its directed style. I hope you know what I mean.
no sorry batman is the best
Best in DC comics

You've just tried arguing with Rusty well done.
Best in DC comics
This, the best Marvel hero would be either Iron Man or Spider-Man.
imo.
avengers use superheroes and other magical stuff, well ironman doesn't use superpowers hes just, inserted stuff inside him and shit and stuff
batman uses gadgets and stuff and is badass
Rusty says batman is better therefore it must be truth my opinion is invalid
it's true though
Unrelated but if I were to start reading batman comics where should I start? Don't really want to begin with the really old original ones, that a bad thing?

Batman for DC
Deadpool for Marvel (no not that shitty piece of trash that was in X-men Wolverine)

Read Killing Joke or start at The New 52s version of Batman

they should reboot the x men franchise instead of adding more and more hugh jackman movies
I don't think he's a bad actor, but god damn, I'm tired of seeing his face already.
