they should reboot the x men franchise instead of adding more and more hugh jackman movies I don't think he's a bad actor, but god damn, I'm tired of seeing his face already.
The problem is that they are focusing the Xmen series ON wolverine, there are better characters but its all about him because he is this badass that doesn't give a fuck.
well, it's like Iron Man, he gets all the fame for any movie he's in, because he's pretty awesome. I know they did this on purpose, and it's what they're trying to do with wolverine, make him "carry" the X-men series. the problem is that they're forcing it
Bitches please.
I hate these discussions, where someone says The Avengers is better than The Dark Knight Rises and the other way around. Or that it sucks compared to this and this... I've seen almost every Marvel movie and I'm really pumped for The Avengers and can't wait to see it. I know it will be good, I have faith in Joss Whedon. But can't you love both? The Dark Knight Rises will be awesome for me, because Nolan makes it and it will be different like The Dark Knight, I want to know how it ends, because it's really unpredictable, if Batman really dies and more. The Dark Knight is one of my favorite comic adaptions and one of the best movies. But I also count, for example Iron Man 1 into it. The Avengers will be epic because it will be like the comics. Maybe it won't have a great story, because they are real comic adaptions and the comics back then were meant to let the good guys always win. But to see the whole Avengers team fighting together against the evil will be pure nerdgasm. The Dark Knight Rises will be semi realistic like the previous two. Having it darker and much more serious makes it different and better in its own style. That's why I'm gonna see both movies. Because both are different in its directed style. I hope you know what I mean.
>Argue that both franchises are good for different reasons >get rated dumb :suicide: [editline]10th April 2012[/editline]
are u trying to say the hulk is something other than one of the most boring and unliked comic book heroes ever?
I... can't seem to formulate a response to this... I just... ... Seriously? [editline]10th April 2012[/editline] Who the fuck started the "X IS BETTER THAN Y, Y IS SHIT AND X IS THE GREATEST" argument? Can we please just get back to discussing this movie instead of arguing over the quality of two totally different movies? The Avengers series is fantastic. The Nolan series is fantastic. Marvel is fantastic. DC is fantastic. But each one for TOTALLY DIFFERENT REASONS.

batman is better
I have a feeling that we'll be getting a full-on Bat-Blitz after May 4th. As popular as Batman is, he's not going to go up against the Avengers. They know this. Let Marvel have their fun, then BOOM, BATMAN OWNS EVERYTHING THAT'S LEFT. I'm CERTAIN that a new trailer will arrive within around a month's time (incoming rainbows).
The Avengers was preceded by a bunch of shit to okay movies and one really good one (Iron Man), so I somehow doubt people are as interested in it as they are the conclusion to the best superhero movie franchise in history.
1. Batman has a rich history and great villains like joker but avengers don't really have any iconic dichotomies like that (I can't even think of marvel villains except maybe green goblin) 2. Everyone dresses up like batman because he is the best 3. He has had many good movies dedicated to him 4. He can be reinvented an infinite amount of times and never get old (is very timeless) and almost mythological at this point 5. batman 6. Also isn't he really the only good IP that gets made into great video games like Arkham (does marvel have any great games like that?)
Batman for DC Deadpool for Marvel (no not that shitty piece of trash that was in X-men Wolverine) [editline]10th April 2012[/editline] Read Killing Joke or start at The New 52s version of Batman
no sorry wolverine is best marvel but batman is better than all marvels
Why do I get the feeling that no one here enjoys the Burton Batman films?
I liked the burton batmans but the 1949 serials are superior

Oh wow, just stop lauding Norton like he's the best thing ever. He threw a hissy fit when he didn't get what he wanted by not doing any promotional runs for the TIH and then Marvel finally released from his contractual obligations
Not to forget they ruined the movie by not bringing back Edward Norton.
Wasn't he kicked out because he demanded too much money and wasn't cooperative enough to work in such a big team?
The Avengers was preceded by a bunch of shit to okay movies and one really good one (Iron Man), so I somehow doubt people are as interested in it as they are the conclusion to the best superhero movie franchise in history.
Thor was good too. But different directors -> Different movie styles. They couldn't be all that good like Iron Man 1

I like Norton, but I'd rather see someone else as the Hulk. I agree that it doesn't flow too well with a different actor, though
Meow [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/rWw9J.jpg[/thumb]
terrible
Is that the actual costume
(I can't even think of marvel villains except maybe green goblin)
Wow, really? I could name like a million right off the bat. http://batman-news.com/2012/04/11/the-dark-knight-rises-batman-and-catwoman-grace-entertainment-weekly-cover-plus-new-interviews/
Christian Bale was on the cover of Entertainment Weekly back in January, and he’s back in a special April issue with Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. The Summer Movie Preview issue is on sale now and features some new interviews with director Christopher Nolan, Anne Hathaway, and Tom Hardy. Hardy even talks about all the criticism surrounding Bane’s voice in The Dark Knight Rises. Here are some excerpts from the Entertainment Weekly preview: Christopher Nolan on Bane and Selina Kyle/Catwoman [Bane] represents formidable physical strength, combined with absolute evil of intention. [Selina Kyle] has a very strong way of protecting herself and those she cares about, which implies an underlying darkness. Tom Hardy on Bane and his voice It’s a risk, because we could be laughed at — or it could be very fresh and exciting,” says Hardy, adding that the voice he developed was influenced by many factors, including a desire to honor the comic book character’s brains and Caribbean heritage. “The audience mustn’t be too concerned about the mumbly voice,” says Hardy. “As the film progresses, I think you’ll be able to tune to its setting. Anne Hathaway on training for Catwoman I had to physically transform,” says Hathaway, calling from London, where she’s currently shooting Les Misérables with Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe. “Chris sat me down at the beginning and said, ‘Joseph Gordon-Levitt did all of his own fighting in Inception. That one zero-gravity fight? He trained for two months.’ I basically left his office and went to the gym and just came out about five minutes ago. Stay tuned to Batman-News.com for all the latest from this issue of Entertainment Weekly. There are new photos inside the magazine, and I’m sure there’s some new info as well. For now, check out the full cover after the break.
that catwoman outfit is ridiculous
and batman's suit has never been ridiculous ever? pointy ears and all?
Except that batman looks intimidating, and catwoman looks like someone's fetish
This is Batman we are talking about here guys, it will always be ridiculous looking no matter how much Nolan tries.
And Batman's suit isn't a fetish?
there's a difference between showing strength and being sexy when I see bale saying "I AM THE BATMAN" with that weird ass voice, I don't think of him as hot
