Gee, thanks for that super helpful tip. /sarcasm
Really? You're going to be a dick to someone when you're the idiot asking how to get noticed on YouTube?? He gave you the best advice. It's commonsense.
Find something the world never has seen before
It's because nobody cares. I used to make semi-decent GTA IV videos and only got about 40 views.
Not everybody is in the same taste of music as you. It could be big turn-off to your videos. Try replacing the really loud DnB music with commentary of your gameplay clips instead. Try to connect with your audience you know ? Imagine if Hutch replaced all of his commentary with really loud music instead :v:
it's easy wait for some game to release find videos on youtube about its glitches make another video about it, but use more keywords get 100k views in one week, also featured on lots of gaming sites and kotaku true story

You need to improve on the music and actually put some voice commentary.

I was one of the first people to upload a retarded mod for the game [PROTOTYPE], it looks gay, the framerate of the video sucks, but the video has 86000 views...
My videos gets posted on popular wedsites in Holland and Poland. That's the place where I first make my views. Than other sites will post my videos too. This means more views. If you get enough views you will make it on the most viewed, most favorited, highest rated page on youtube. There you can also make a lot of views. And if you're really lucky you will make it onto the youtube homepage. That happened 2 times to me. I had 1.5 million views(2 weeks) and 400000 views (1 day). Second video got removed due to a copyright claim (that really sucks)
Sometimes it just takes one person to see your stuff and their actions will cause a big chain reaction. I remember when I did my first To Catch an FPS video, and someone posted it on Garrysmod.com and Garry favorited it. Ever since then, I've been doing really good on YouTube. And soon I'll be doing really diverse videos so I can target other audiences.

Get a machinima contract :ghost:
Or how about doing something less common and less boring than game reviews. Its not easy to compete with some of the masters who have a unique and entertaining personality (nostalgia critic, zero punctuation, ect).
