im pretty sure a lot of game grumps is about games they grew up with
and they both grew up with a lot of nintendo games.
this isnt fucking hard guys and is it even an issue?
anyway im investing in buying either a supaboy or one of those NES/SNES combo systems and getting my SNES games from my parents' house, inspired by ego mentioning it in grumps. however its a 20 dollar difference and it hinges on whether or not i have many NES games left or if I threw them out long ago. but i'm psyched either way

I think a lot of those combo systems have issues with some games. If you want to go 100% sure, get the original consoles. Most of them should still work fine.
However, if you're set on a combo system, check out the retron 3, heard good things about it.

Limiting themselves to nintendo systems is pretty stupid. There are tons of great games on microsoft and sony systems, yet we will never get to see them because they are sticking to nintendo for some reason.
I don't mind them sticking to Nintendo right now it's just people sending them tons of Nintendo games. For all we know they could be getting all the Nintendo games fans are sending out of the way first then move onto other systems.

While I do agree that there are a LOT of good non-nintendo games, I can see them not bothering unless they got a system + some games. I think they do own pretty much everything nintendo and not much else.
That said, I love to see them try some of the Metal Gear series.

The #1 reason why I hate rpg playthroughs. They take goddamn forever to get done. Love the genre, just hate it when people make videos of them. I can think of only a few ones that did it well, but even those tend to hit 100+ videos.
