GiantBomb's Persona 4 Let's play is around 150 parts, and it's just a joy to watch them play it.
But they are really focused on the game while playing it, so it wouldn't work for Green Gurps-
more short sweet co op games and fighting/gameshow/competitive party games pls

GumGramps doesn't seem to be getting unfunny yet about that game, but I agree. The first 50 episodes usually go fine, but when let's players reach 200 episodes and have only completed 6% of the game is where the screen yelling begin.
RPG LPs are easier to watch if you watch them as they're being uploaded since then you don't have a shit ton of parts to watch. Even better if the LPer has a constant schedule.

In my opinion, they need to focus on quality rather than quantity. Sure they have a lot of lets plays going on, but they need to tone it down a bit, focus on 2-3, upload at least 1 video a day (I Think they upload 1 or 2 a day, I don't really keep up with them). Just my thoughts.

I think that goes against what Game Grumps is at it's core. It's not really meant to be of amazing quality or well constructed, it's more of just two friends who film themselves playing games and not give a fuck about what's going on. It's not really artsy, there's not much to focus on. It's basically just art through sincerity.

If you've been watching for long enough, you'll notice the only game they put some effort into is Smash Bros. Which is funny because that's the only game they're self conscious about.

I agree. If they did fun matches with items and smash balls or sudden death matches it would be a lot better, but they took it semi-seriously and pretty much always used final destination and no items.
It kinda defeats the purpose of brawl IMO.
when i play brawl i always play with at least pokeballs and trophies because they usually end up with hilarious results, and hilarious efforts to scramble to grab them

I'm more annoyed that it isn't 15-20 minutes instead of 10.

The game wasn't bad, it was actually rather fun, it just wasn't a Banjo-Kazooie game. JonTron is the world's biggest Banjo-Kazooie fan so that kind've ruined the game for him.
