Honestly, I think Ego just doesn't seem to understand that conveyance isn't possible through gameplay on all occasions. Z-targeting somewhat revolutionized third person games, and you can't really just have a character show it off to you. Sometimes tutorials are necessary, yes I agree with him that most of the time they're completely unnecessary, however it would be arrogant to assume that you could apply that logic everywhere.

Oh god, oh god, oh god. How did they fuck up so badly. Even if they were strapped for time, why the fuck did they even put together those godawful waste of time city missions. The city from SA1 looked more detailed for Christ's sake. hey should have strung all the levels together back to back, sure it would have still been terrible, but it would have been playable at least.
