Which happened once. They were most likely just laughing, saying oh my god and just mumbling shit without actually saying anything. Like they said themselves later on.

Unless the camera is relatively distanced from the characters and the bomb is somehow spawning in the way of the camera every time they use the attack as such, there's no excuse for that. I mean, there's no excuse even if it [i]was[/i] the reason why, but at least it'd make some sorta 'buggy camera' sense. Sure, they rushed it for the Holiday release, but good god. Allegedly they'd planned for the 'amigo' (extra) characters to be more diverse and be freely playable, but in the final product they're all pretty terrible except Blaze, who basically is like a dosage of Sonic gameplay in Silver's story.

City Escape is kind of the reason why I dislike the emphasis on the 2d parts of Colours and Generations, which is to say the majority of those games, since Modern sonic spents at least 70% of his time in 2d segments, apart from of course City Escape in Generations, where it still feels out of place. To me, City Escape is the perfect embodiment of everything I like in a Sonic game, and I vastly prefer the 3d gameplay over the 2d. I just wish they'd make another full 3d Sonic game, and leave the 2d stuff to Sonic the Hedgehog 4.

And after Sonic Generations, Episode 2 kinda felt like a [i]regression[/i] than anything else.
