The chances of me actually invading them would be incredibly slim.
Not only would they have to be human, I would have to be in soul-level range which means I would have to beat the game at a very low soul level and then level up to around their level and invade the area they are in.
I don't really think I would have a chance at invading them...
I would probably have a better chance at messaging them and teaming up with them.

Not to mention their already done with the playthrough. I think they just devote one night to the game, and it's just split up into many videos. I imagine they're playing a different game entirely at this point.

The first Demon's Souls save was on 10/30 or 10/31, the latest one was like 11/5, I think.

They don't just devote one night to a game and then drop it. Megaman and Goof Troop both took a few days. Sonic 06 was recorded on multiple (probably agonising) days.
They normally upload 2 videos a day, they are ~10 minutes long which means to make a weeks worth of content they have to play for 140 minutes. They have their gamegrumps session every monday as seen from the schedule on the 7 asses t-shirt video.
It would make sense if their sessions were 140-180 minutes long so they always have enough for each day as long as they don't decide to make the episode longer (which is why I also would assume they play for 3 hours and not 2 hours 20 minutes so they can do that).
I assume they play 40-60 minutes per game that isn't a one-shot, giving enough content for a week and then the rest (20-100 minutes) is spent on one-shots.
