I disagree with jon wreck it ralph was fucking amazing, especially for a kid friendly movie.

Just because you have to change something to make it work on a handheld doesn't mean that it isn't detrimental to the overall experience.
If they made a version of Blade Runner that's brighter so that it's easier to watch on mobile phones it would be terrible, regardless of how good their reason for doing it is.

no, it'd be cool because it'd only be released for mobile phones. When you go to play a handheld game, you expect a handheld experience. Not a pitch black bossfight.

Everything's so goddamned bright and colorful, which completely ruins the effect. Seriously, just compare the lighting when Ganondorf holds up his hand before he transforms. Compare the effects. In the original it's like "HOLY FUCKING SHIT", in the new one it's like "eh, final boss".
That dark shit is intentional. Look at this.

See how dark that shit is? There's color, yeah, but it's contrasted by a lot of desaturated dark shadow colors. That's how the game was intended to look, that's why it still looks so fucking cool.

Am I the only person who thinks Majora's Mask is far superior to Ocarina of Time? Majora's Mask was just so much more entertaining than OoT to me.
i loved oot as a kid but playing it again i agree its hugely overrated. that said i fuckin loved twilight princess when i played it this year for the first time. and like i said before i tried the same with mm and found to too stressful

oh i also tried link to the past and it didn't grab me. the art style is really nice for a snes game but there's just something lost when it's not 3d. it's not as engaging and investing.

Minish Cap is my favorite, probably because it's the only one I ever bothered to beat
Wind Waker might be my favorite just above Twilight Princess. Also Spirit Tracks was fun and good kill me.
Skyward sword was alright, but I just blasted through it to finish the story. It certainly wasn't a bad game at all.
Wind Waker has been the most solid 3D zelda imo, followed by Twilight Princess.
Oddly enough, I have found myself enjoying both Oracles a lot more than other Zeldas. Like, I've played them non-stop. I think it's the two Zelda games that I have accorded the most attention.

That's why I use Tumblr Savior, that way you can also avoid other stuff like pro-affirmative action bullshit or other stuff you don't like

also a link to the past is amazing and has aged really well, with retro becoming popular

I remember a friend that hated Wind Waker guts because it didn't look like that zelda tech demo that was shown when the Gamecube was going to come out, then flipped her shit when Nintendo made Twilight Princess a Wii title instead of a GC one.
I think entitlement issues and prejudices are a stupid reason for not liking a game, but whatever v:v:v
