man god damn there's so much drama in the comments on their latest video all because they started dissing skyward sword kind of sad
people just need to accept that skyward sword was awful and not assume its a perfect baby just because it had legend of zelda in the title
Why do they hate Skyward Sword so much? I'm playing through it, I think it's pretty fun so far. Not a MASTERPIECE, but not BAD by any stretch of the imagination. NOTE: I accept that that is merely their opinion, whatever, but I'm just kinda curious as to why they don't like it.
I kinda liked skyward sword. I prefer wind waker and twilight princess over it, but it's still a decent game IMO...
So what was wrong with Skyward Sword? I haven't played it.
So what was wrong with Skyward Sword? I haven't played it.
I'm not very far into it, but the only criticism I really have is that it's kinda slow in the beginning. Like, you need to run all around. Then you need to find your bird. Then you need a sword. Then you need to run all around some more. Then you need to rescue your bird. Then you need to fly. Then you need to run some more. Then fly some more. Then do an annoying-ass parachute minigame. And THEN... Zelda is kidnapped, you go to the surface, and the game basically begins. All in all, I'd estimate it takes just about an hour for you to really start playing (ie. Link is in the green suit, has a sword, and is hacking up monsters that are more threatening than bats and cave slimes).
...Just like Twilight Princess! [sp]admittedly it's because I could not figure out how to fucking FISH[/sp]
but that one chick in the start of twilight princess took like forever to walk to her house to continue the story

I just realized, Twilight Princess was the first Zelda game I completed. Fuck.
so what you're saying is that it's basically ocarina of time?
I wouldn't say that... I mean, atleast Ocarina gives you the Deku Tree part, which could be considered something of a dungeon. The closest thing to a dungeon in the beginning of Skyward is a cave that you need to basically walk in a straight line to beat.

This is a pretty good review of what exactly is wrong with Skyward Sword but also addresses on some of the good things about it. It's 49 minutes long and also kinda spoils the whole thing if you haven't finished the game.
what is that escape from the city song from? is that from sonic???
what is that escape from the city song from? is that from sonic???
the one in the video before? That's Classic Sonic's City Escape remix in Sonic Generations (Modern Sonic gets a different remix in his level, too). If you mean the song itself, it's City Escape from Sonic Adventure 2 - first level of the Hero story.
what is that escape from the city song from? is that from sonic???
Mario Party 6
If you mean the song itself, it's City Escape from Sonic Adventure 2 - first level of the Hero story.
oh
Fire temple was hard? I'd like to hear him elaborate on that. Honestly aside from the Volvaiga fight I thought it was one of the most straightforward adult temples.
Volvagia fight was super easy, smack with hammer, shoot him in the head with arrows when he flies around and hang on the edge of the stage when he drops rocks.
Folks are fast on these requests when the Grumps ask for them. [editline]2nd December 2012[/editline] Shit, the mod's even made by the guy who started up the major Generations level modding and such and working on the Unleashed level ports.
reminds me of this
So what's the difference between LoZ Battle Quest and this, besides Nintendo characters?
It's not 1 to 1 obviously. I'm kidding I don't know. It does seem pretty similar.
Coop and actually 1 to 1 movement. Animation is more Fluid and it's Legend of Motherfucking Zelda
But the whole point of Resorts was it used the Motion Plus, so it was 1:1.
But the whole point of Resorts was it used the Motion Plus, so it was 1:1.
On the Wii it was not as refined and polished as in Nintendo Land
what is that escape from the city song from? is that from sonic???
u dunce
Latecomer to the party here in terms of this Barry situation, even though I've watched all the Grumps episodes from pretty much the early days. Where did all this Barry thing come from all of a sudden?
