IIRC more rings = more score. If you want a high score, you need to retain your rings - which is difficult.
I guess that's okay, it's just the way they're used as health is really awkward.
But i've never been much of a sonic fan.

What tipped you off? Was it when they said they were going to play it after DK Country was done?
I kind of wish they started playing Donkey Kong Country 3 instead. DKC2 is good, but it's been played a lot.

I still find it hilarious that the Radical Train mach speed section took Pokecapn and friends half an hour or so in two videos to beat it with multiple gameovers, and yet Jon and Arin only lose two lives and clear it in their first shot with one gameover on the normal Radical Train level otherwise.
That is, the Jon and Arin everyone always bitches about in their incompetence in realizing simple patterns or factors. :v:

Funnily enough this was actually a thing lifted from Sonic Heroes that Tails and Rouge uses as an attack when they're by themselves. This was probably because back in Sonic Heroes most enemies had healthbars and thus couldn't be easily be taken down with the simple melee attacks they used back in SA1/SA2.
In 06, there is [i]no fucking excuse[/i] for why Tails still uses decoy rings.
