Oh man... Top comment...
I goddamned hate when people do that. It's one of my biggest pet peeves. And on a video like this, it just pisses me off.

shit Tyrone, get it together
I think Arin is legimately losing his fucking mind playing Sonic 06, he snaps at Jon more and more now :v: He's losing it and I love it
I dont see why they keep playing donkey kong games, Arin clearly doesnt enjoy them
I dont see why they keep playing donkey kong games, Arin clearly doesnt enjoy them
Because it's Jon's favurite game. [sp]Seriously I respect what Jon loves, I really do. But for our sake's, they need to play an interesting game that'll be funny for them to commentate on.[/sp]
I think the most fun games they play are the really bad ones, cause that brings out the best in the grumps or if they're in a good mood, you know? It's hard to peg which are good series to watch Nintendoland, Goof Troop, Sonic 06 are all fun to watch, but stuff like DKC or Banjo Kazoiie or Shenmue or Resident Evil are boring to watch.
oh boy would stairfox temperatures be something you guys would probably enjoy watching them play? on the topic of relatively bad games, that hit me first, even though i actually enjoyed it.

It's terrible but it's really fun to watch.

Can't really put my finger on it though.

Generally it's because the game design and gameplay at it's core is good, but the glitches surrounding it makes it a terrible game. If sonic '06 wasn't as glitchy, it would be a good game, just like the sonic adventure games. IMO, those were the best, considering the camera was always behind you and the speed was properly balanced between "the game plays itself" and "I'm not going fast", which the current modern sonic games fail to (2.5D galore, when the camera is in the back, barely anything happens) It's also relevant to the punishment caused by the glitch, deaths in sonic games isn't the end of the world. Getting stuck in the pacing can easily be dealt with thanks to the internet But imagine if dark souls was exactly the same game, with a shitty hit detection that would somehow cause enemy to hit multiple time on the same attack/hit you without visually showing it. Then the punishment would be so severe it would pretty much ruin the game, even though everything within dark souls is fine. The fun in playing sonic 06 is trying to exploit the actually fun part of the game, while also enjoying the inevitable glitch, which in this case, is more hilarious than frustrating (most of the time) On a sidenote, they should seriously extend sonic episodes to 15/20 min per episode, for our and their sake.
I really don't like their play throughs when they play modern platformers, like the new DK and mario games. Something about the game just feels so dumbed down and unfun, it's not fun or entertaining to watch them play it.

And hoo boy, Sonic Genesis is a whole 'nother topic. Released on the same day as Sonic '06, it's a Game Boy Advance port of the first Sonic the Hedgehog. .. Or, 'port' in the loosest meaning ever possible. I can't remember why, but Sega didn't give the coders access to the original game's code, and forced them to either do it from scratch or via Sonic Advance's code. Considering how utterly terrible it is and how Sonic Advance (1) isn't, I can only assume the former. It probably had a month or even just a few weeks of work put into it before Sega forced that to be shoveled out too. Broken music and sound, with everything sounding tinny, utterly fucked up physics where momentum is randomly kept or taken away when colliding with things, some of the worst slowdown on the Game Boy Advance ever seen during even random moments of gameplay, and an Anniversary mode that added a broken Spindash and nothing else. And then one guy of the sonicretro.org community managed to recreate Green Hill Zone, special stages, playable Sonic, Tails and Knuckles with all of their respective abilities and faithful music & gameplay on a GBA rom, proving just how bad Sega fucked it up. You can probably find plenty of reviews on Youtube.

they also seem really depressed when playing dkc and dkc2, arin obviously does not like the game and jon is just constantly trying to prove how good it is its uncomfortable as fuck

I love how they said like SONIC '06 IS BAD, yet it ends up being the longest and the funniest of them all. Also, they should go and play some Versus again. Like Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat.
Goof Troop is still my favourite series. That moment when Arin kicks the explosive block and Jon walks into it, causing them both to die and go to a gameover screen jesus I never laughed so hard at a youtube video.

Kirby SuperStar and Megaman 7 was really funny and interesting to watch.

I hope they do the full game not just sonic's story mainly to see if arin goes insane.
I don't understand, why did they make that level so huge if you're just supposed to cross the lake which is almost at the spawn point
It's an overworld. After you beat that level, it fills with people, sidequests and like two other levels.
I hope they do the full game not just sonic's story mainly to see if arin goes insane.
"There are TWO MORE?!"
I'm thinking of sending them my Fairly Odd Parents Video games. You all remember those right?
I loved that game as a kid, don't know why. It'd be neat if they played it, but I'm not sure if it's really Game Grumps material. It'll probably be a 1 off episode if they play it, but I dunno.
I want them to play "destroy all humans!" great game, and the 2nd game has coop
I kinda want them to play Ape Escape. In a old episode I was watching today they both said that they have never played it and it's too good of a game to miss.
