Also, I don't understand how they can be this bad at the game. It's one of the easiest SNES games I know of lol.
They don't use the moves they're given correctly. They get killed before quickly using up their powerup, don't slide-kill the rows of enemies in the Gray Fac stage, and the list just goes on.

Mike Matei's such an odd guy. He doesn't have any real charm to him, and whenever his reviews start getting somewhat bearable he'll add something completely out-of-place and cringe-worthy to his commentary. Again, as was posted in this thread earlier, Mike makes nice title cards for the AVGN videos, but once he's the one in the spotlight things tend to get awkward. I wonder if James ever gets a little embarrassed when he watches his videos. I could see it happening.
Some people have commented on Jon's "over-acting" in his videos, but I don't know, I think Jon pulls his stuff off well. Mike seems like an alright guy but he's totally someone that does not belong in front of a camera. His jokes are lame and his presentation of them is lamer, and he doesn't seem to have a "performing voice."
He also needs to get his own channel instead of uploading his filler to JamesNintendoNerd.
There's one recent video where Mike and James were going over VHS covers and you could just kinda hear James choking down friendly "shut ups" every time Mike told a joke or made an observation. What's even stranger, though, is that Mike seemed to pause after telling the jokes as if he was expecting a "shut up."
I can't place what dialect Jon has. Sometimes it sounds like that italian-mafia dialect I keep hearing in movies and games. Help?

I started playing that again last week (just need to catch the rest of the apes for Spectre now) and I'll still consider it a great solid game to this day, I would send my copy but I've had it since it was released and sentimental reasons etc.

Mike has the problem that he hates acting. He often says so in interviews and such. You can really tell that he gets nervous in front of a camera (or even a mic).
Although, without Mike, cinemassacre and AVGN wouldn't be where they are today. He works best behind the camera, as a writer and such.

Kind of like how Egoraptor was kinda sucky on the Tester, and when he was booted off his fans got pissed at that.
I like Ego myself, but he's a bit well. He can be a bit of an asshole sometimes.
