I feel like I'd be more nervous about meeting Jon than I would be about meeting Arin. Arin's all laid back and cool about meeting fans, whereas in almost any video of Jon at a convention, he looks so uncomfortable when people talk to him.

He doesn't believe he is that funny and think most of the jokes is only funny within context. He just doesn't get it because he lacks confidence in himself actually being that funny.

People get weird because people get obsessed with the person they look up to, and more often than not they want to "do something funny" or "leave an impression" on the person they look up to. They want to be rememered by the person, be his/her friend and marry him/her. So when they meet them it's like "this is my chance, can't screw this up, must be *** and make this count", whether that be in the form of asking them to say something funny, try and pull off a really bad joke or reference or trying to connect their own hobbies with his/her, it all becomes a painfully awkward experience because they're nervous and stressed.
Yes that's what I was saying just in less detail.

I wouldn't say its because he lacks the confidence, I'd say it's just his way of being modest. I can't imagine it's easy to comprehend that millions of people watch what you create and love you, but don't even know the first thing about you except for a screenname you go by.

I don't think he's modest about it.
He's just a normal guy that decided to make animations and uploaded them to the internet. People liked what they saw and more and more people would watch it, as he got his stuff on Youtube and the views got higher he could make a living from just having people watch his stuff so he decided to do that.

I'd want to talk to Arin about animation, since he's without a doubt my favorite animator on the web, but I'm sure Arin gets asked about that plenty enough.
as for Jon he just seems like a really friendly guy to be around.
I'd love to meet them both but if I could only meet one I think I'd actually want to meet Arin more, since he's a bit of a role model when it comes to animations and stuff like that
