I'm looking forward to the episode where Arin is calmly reading through the Prima guide, notices that there's still a portion of sonic's arc AND two other complete arcs, and just freaks the fuck out I really, seriously don't think they know what they got into here.

I love Jon and Ego but why do they keep making the same mistake? They never read the directions. In fucking Sonic they always fail to read the on screen instructions. "Kill all the enemies," it says on the loading screen for five minutes and they walk right past the enemies. In Nintendo Land they complain and skip the tutorial and then they lose because they didn't know how to play. I can understand once or twice but they're 30 videos in to the Sonic 06 one so they really have no excuses.

I hate people who yell at Let's Players because they are not "hardcore" gamers or missed something. In the latter case it might even result in backtracking, which reduces progress. I like the format they have; cut out parts where they don't talk and keep the rest. I don't mind seeing them do nothing for 20 minutes, as long as they are providing quality commentary while doing so.

If the game they are playing doesn't have the simplest of controls and objectives they always end up doing this. Which is why them playing things like RPGs in the past really didn't work well at all.
