GameGrumps - A new youtube channel from JonTron and Egoraptor - General

Generations was a bad game, it was never well designed in 2D and in 3D it feels like you're never controlling sonic properly and the game seems to fuck you up more than you fuck up which is bad. But if people like it through nostalgia glasses thats cool, we all like bad games because you remember it from your past. I mean fuck I like Gex.

I didn't grow up with 2d Sonic, and my only 3d Sonic game was Adventure 2. It's a very flawed game, and the 3d segments were much better than the 2d parts, which was annoying since the Modern segments kept trying to play it safe and go 2d, but it's a genuinely good game. You can't deflect anything into "YOU ONLY LOVE IT BECAUSE NOSTALGIA".

i agree with arin a lot when it comes to the donkey kong country games. the platforming isn't very satisfying at all and even if it's pretty to look at it's ultimately kind of unfulfilling

SA wasn't too bad, it was enjoyable but I can see why people dislike the formula, the concept of Sonic in 3D and in a human world was pretty bizarre (it's not something Sonic 06 invented) compared with other games. Dunno about SA2, but since it looks similar to and SA introduced pretty much all the shitty "OC Donut Steel" characters of the franchise, yeah, I can see why Arin doesn't like it.

DKCR was fucking perfect when it came to progressive increase in difficulty.

I'm not sure how I should feel about Jon anymore. A part of me says I should still respect him for who he is and his videos, but I another part of me is annoyed. For example, why would Jon think it would be funny to say he wants to destroy That ginger bread house? I know he probably meant it jokingly and shit, but Arin and his girl friend place effort into that. And then he ask if he can punch it? No. I guess it would be funny if it turned out like crap, but no. I'm probably just confused from all the drama from shit looming around this.
