Jon having opinions on games is just a laughable thing.
I can agree with a lot of his taste. But his arguments are just... you really can't call them arguments, just dumb sounds coming out of a persons mouth.

I'm tellin' ya, they should totally play Skylanders Giants.
Arin already plays it apparently (not suprising, considering all the figures there are to collect) and it strikes me as the type of game Jon would really like (dungeon crawler-esque with tons of character. It also feels like something that would have thrived in the 90's, if the tech was there).
It's co-op, has tons of potential Grump material (the designs of the characters range from awesome to confusing as shit, equippable stat boosters take the form of silly hats you can find, you can re-name your guy if you want, there's a creepy-ass universe of living doll people, etc.), Arin already owns it; it'd make for an awesome series.
Hell, if they wanted to, they could auction off their main two guys once the series ends.
The character data is stored in the physical toys, so if you own a Skylander they used on GameGrumps, you own [u]THE[/u] Skylander they used on GameGrumps, name, hat, stats and all.

dkc is just a bad game. some people love it regardless. but i think, and there are plenty who agree, that it is just an unfun, unforgiving, and ugly platformer.

They both played Skylanders together back in autumn. It's highly unlikely it will make it to GameGrumps since they've both played it long ago and not made anything out of it.

Even that's a little too far. He has some good opinions. It's just that sometimes they're under developed because he's never articulated them before.

I disagree, he's got shit opinions (I think he's stated like... 2-3 things throughout gamegrumps which made any sense and/or wasn't shot down by Arin immediately) and he has goggles all over the place.
Just look at how he says DKC is his favourite game and it's so good and whatnot. Then he plays it on Gamegrumps and he says it's bad on several aspects, gets frustrated as hell by it and whatnot and doesn't actually praise it for anything.
It's especially funny how he discovered how much there was to dislike in DKC 1 and then pulled a "but the 2nd is better" card, only to end up giving it more slaps across the face.
Yet he still thinks of it as one of his favourite games which is just weird.
I personally like Donkey Kong Country and all, but not to the extent Jon does, and the way he seems to just ignore how not-as-good-as-he-makes-it-out-to-be the game is just ignores me.
I'm actually so excited for the Groomps to play Super Meat Boy, that's gonna be awesome

I have an image to maintain IRL so I moderate my behavior. I can say or do pretty much whatever I want on the internet and have it have no effect on my life except a couple people responding with "internet is srs bsns" replies.
One won't see me IRL quoting anything from game grumps. Hell, I try to stay unassociated with pretty much everything that could get me viewed as "nerde."

honestly if i ever met egoraptor or jon, i would try to treat them as a friend and not some celebrity, im sure they enjoy being famous but enjoy being treated like a human being a little bit more
