the difference is that everyone's already done the portal 2 co-op puzzles and everyone already knows they're fair. it'd just be frustrating to watch, half the viewerbase would spend most of the time screaming at their screens if they get stuck
at least they have barry to fast forward

Jon doesn't like L4D so I don't imagine how that'd go well.
We've seen how badly Ego not enjoying something can drag the show down, imagine how bad it'd be drug down if JON was the one not enjoying it.
As for Portal 2, I could see that working, but only if they actually buckled down and tried to solve puzzles, which doesn't seem likely given their track record.

We did see that when they played A Link to the Past and it didn't last very long.
Haven't we learned by now that Jon is not good at puzzle? If he was good Goof Troop would have been 8 episodes rather than 12.

Yes, Palos Verdes is a rich community. Lots of Persians live there, which makes sense given Jon is Persian.

I can guarantee that he still loves it but 90% off the time they are either stressed or grumpy all together, making them fail and sending them into a rage quit. The sticking to the honey issue they had near the end is something I encountered aswell but I usually played with it because screaming at it won't make a difference. Still DKC and DKC2 are really good games (IMO) but I never set down and tried number 3.

To dismiss these games as bad just because of Jon's overhype/them raging/Arin's dislike for them is a poor way to judge them.

Well, from what I remember, it was a video about overhyped games. At the start, he mentioned it didn't mean he thought the games were bad, just overhyped. Not sure if he expresses his direct opinion about L4D.
