how can they do videos of smash bros its just heaps of small fights ???? it would get old fast if theres no plot arch there for them to not pay attention to
Brawl has CO-OP story mode I think
it's still barely a story and would barely go for an hour

A lot of thier playthroughs seem to be rather short games, though. Case in point, Goof Troop and Megaman.
yeah but they have actual stories and are kind of interesting, as much as i love smash bros, it would be like watching them play counterstrike or something. i like that too but its not good for a lets play, even with these guys
They should play super mayro kratt.

Oh wow people actually remember that game? I feel so accomplished

Smash Bros has as much of a story as Goof Troop, that game is literally just Goofy and Max walking to a boat. The Co op mode isn't just a bunch of fights either, there are platforming sections between them.
Nicaraguan karaoke is my favorite thing
Cough Grumps.

Neither Megaman nor Goof Troop have a story that's any better than SSBB. Goof Troop as mentioned above and Megaman is "go fight 8 bosses because the city is being attacked or whatever". An episode of Power-Puff Girls has more story than Megaman.

According to me (I played through the story mode on normal) and other internet sources subspace emmisary takes 3+ hours to complete on easy and has full co-op I beleive.
And even if it was an hour long, it would be 6 10 minute episodes or 4 episodes with 15 minutes.
Or they should play LOZ 4 swords.
That might be cool.
Gauntlet Legends was better.
Legends and Dark Legacy are the exact same thing just Dark Legacy has a lot more content and better graphics.
game grumps thread: "gee i sure would like to see them play all the games"
Actually I think Portal 2 would be a good obvious choice.
But I have to agree with Itachi, it's basically a "Hey Game Grumps, could you please play [INSERT FAVORITE GAME HERE]? I would really love that."

The amount of shit they could do to eachother would make that funny as shit. Let alone how much one of them could just fuck up over and over.

there's a story in Brawl, albeit with no dialogue
which is perfect material for adlibbing :v:
Smash Bros would be p lame, once you've seen one fight you've essentially seen them all. I'd rather watch them solve puzzles and experience new enemies and gameplay assets they can make fun of then a game i'm sure we've all seen people play a thousand times before. I think what Rusty meant by story was progression, there's different level design with new enemies to fit and puzzles which is way more enjoyable to watch them figure out because Jontrons not paying attention.
All the little things in Goof Troop which make it hilarious don't translate over to fighting games. Smash Bros wouldn't be awful for them to play but I'd much rather watch them just do another co-op game.

have you even played Subspace Emissary in Brawl
the Great Maze is the most confusing final level ever, and each level has various gimmicks, enemies and otherwise. it's not just straight up fights every time, there's plenty of platforming, unique boss fights independent from the normal ones, and so forth.
Yeah, there are normal fights interspersed here and there, and the mode uses the same base mechanics as the multiplayer and such, but it's definitely more than just simple enemy-after-enemy arcade battles. Also, it has Co-op just as well.
The Great Maze can get fucked. "Just played through the game? PLAY THROUGH IT AGAIN."

yeah that's brawl on wii, typically they're playing older games like the original smash brothers, from which I was refering to.

We're talking about brawl on the Wii because of the Mini short in which they talked about Mii's and the screen showed Brawl on it. Also, during the Megaman episode JonTron was upset he lost a match of brawl, meaning they atleast played it some.

Yeah, it's one of those games that's fun to play, fun to watch.
I absolutely loved ProtonJon's Brawl videos, I thought they were amazing. Game Grumps could easily pull off a brawl playthrough.
Actually I think Portal 2 would be a good obvious choice.
It's short, it's great, it opens tons of opportunity for being an asshole to the other.
Hope neither of them have played the coop so they can get a first time experience, though.
