Does anyone else think the terrain in Dead Space 3 looks like something out of the Fallout version of Gamebryo? Everything looks flat and blocky and seems to lack proper shadows.

I'm really tempted to buy a copy of Jaws: Unleashed, then send it to them. Seriously, the second I watched Game Grumps, I realised that Jaws would make for the PERFECT GG series. In what other game do you play as a killer shark who fights orcas, sabotages 4th of July celebrations, and spits exploding barrels at offshore oil rigs?

Doesn't look like the rest of this thread is salvageable. I didn't bother watching the episode yet (YouTube is being a pain for me today), but it can't be that bad. Although I hope we don't get tons more product placement in the future. But this senseless drama better not carry over to v2. That goes for Game Grumps selling out and this Total Biscuit ordeal. Back to Grumping... I hope the Grumps play Kirby: Nightmare in Dreamland like they suggested in Kirby Superstar. I think multiplayer might be possible if one used the Gameboy Player for Gamecube while the other used a regular GBA connected to the GC. I also want to see them play Mario Sunshine, for nostalgia's sake. An impossible dream of mine is that they play Smash Bros. Melee with the Debug Menu. Watching Ego and Jon try to outdo each other using various debug commands would be hilarious. (Also, one or both of them freaking out after finding out that playing as Sandbag crashes the game.)

DRAMA GRUMPS

Just watched the Dead Space one. Honestly, it was pretty good. I mean, yeah, they were OBVIOUSLY told/paid to do it, but it still had some fun shit. The whole thing kinda reminded me of when Arin was on the Tester and decided to just fuck around with everything instead of taking the quest to become a game tester seriously. Really, I'm kinda indifferent to them doing "promo" Grump sessions. So long as they have control over what they say about the game (as far as their opinions on it go, not the promo blurbs), it should be fine. The moment it truly set in that they DIDN'T sell out was the crafting bit. They read an obviously scripted statement about how "WOW, YOU CAN CRAFT YOUR OWN WEAPONS!", then immediately try to do so to no avail. They were paid/told to PLAY the demo, not PRAISE it. That, in my opinion, is what constitutes "selling out". I really hope we get some usual Grumps after this though. I do think that they should experiment more though. For a while now, it's basically been Sonic '06, a DKC, a Mario Party, and the occasional one-off. I personally think it'd be pretty cool to see what they )specifically Jon) have to say about some more recent games (L.A. Noir could be a ton of fun, if handled well). Mostly because it wouldn't fall under the nostalgia goggles category.

But there are times when he doesn't think enough before he says something. I think TB took whatever happened too seriously, but also Jon more than likely just said something stupid. I'm not defending TB for being a dick plenty of times but I think there are plenty of perspectives on this.

Wasn't Jon in some podcast with TB along with two other TGS members? I remember it being posted in this thread a month or two ago and them being pretty friendly towards each other. What exactly did Jon say about those KOTW winners for TB to turn his opinion of Jon a full 180?

I thought the Deadspace one was very entertaining; who cares if they're getting paid/told to do it, they did it in a very humorous way and I enjoyed watching :v Not sure why people are complaining.

I think the problem is it went on for too long. Just felt kind of uneasy.

idk why everyones having a hissy fit over that episode i agree it felt really unnatural but i don't blame them for it at all and i still enjoy watching it regardless of the forced vibe. the only thing i would throw a fit about is if that became their whole channel, which it obviously never will. let these nice dudes make a bunch more money with promotions every now and again

Yes, the only problem I really had with it was that they didn't talk about anything personal in that episode, as they usually do, such as their sickness in the last sonic episode or something. I guess they felt like they needed to talkspecifically about the game the entire time. Like other people said, it just felt a bit unnatural.
