I don't think Jon Tron has featured a single rage face in one of his videos in quite a while (correct me if I am wrong though, because I don't want to go back and check). I also remember him commenting on how he liked that one video about everything bad about mainstream internet memes and culture with that guy that sounds like Albert Wesker. Just like the rest of us, Jon's humor has changed and improved. While I do think it's a little annoying when Jon rambles about Banjo or other shit, and sometimes doesn't make sense and contradicts himself. Give him a break, although he talks a lot you can tell he's really passionate about it, he just doesn't wait and think for a while like Egoraptor before saying his opinion on something. Another reason why I think Jon does talk more is because he thinks that if he slows the pace of his commentary down the video will get worse and boring, and he sometimes just wants to say stuff off the top of his head to keep the pace going. It shows that he cares about the quality of the videos even though they are just playthroughs of games with them talking. With all that said, it's just fucking lets play commentary, why does everyone have to criticize so quickly on shit, just enjoy the videos. You guys make it seem like a big deal.

Gamegrumps is solidifying and justifying my existing love for egoraptor. He's quick, he's incredibly funny, has good opinions (usually), and is an amazing voice actor. He also seems really genuinely nice. As for Jon, I started out not knowing who the fuck he is, to growing to like him within a few episodes. But then he kept declaring his love for things like Reddit, Nickelback, 4chan, Lady Gaga (he's not gay or a woman so ???) and having an overzealous love for Banjo Kazooie, he's growing just a little tiresome and if he didn't have a great voice I'm not sure i'd have liked him as much as I had. Don't get me wrong, Jon's still fine. But he has a whole lot of bad opinions, can be quite slow, and does some annoying stuff. And starting a flame war against some other user's channel was just a really dumb thing to do, no matter how much the other guy sucks. He just needs to step up his game. I can see why he's so likable but there's also a lot to dislike there.

Don't get me wrong there's some things I disagree with Jon about---like reddit being "better" than 4chan at filtering stuff out---but just because he has different opinions than yours doesn't mean he needs to step up his game at all. And he's outright said that putting nostalgia aside, Banjo Kazooie is a dated game. But while it's clear he loves the series very much you don't hear a lot of people complaining that he's practically rubbing it in everyone's face, particularly EgoRaptor's. And personally I'm glad such a high profile YouTuber like Jon stated what many, many people are saying: that PewDiePie makes absolutely zero effort in his videos and earns atrocious amounts of money in doing so. And by the way, Arin backed him up when Jon said he didn't get the amount of hate reddit gets. No, he didn't explicitly say he liked reddit too, but he didn't exactly disagree with him.

I can see why he's so likable but there's also a lot to dislike there.[/QUOTE] I think that he serves as a good foil for Ego when it comes to his opinions about games though. he goes for the immersion in a universe and so long as it has that, flaws in gameplay can be overlooked because they won't ruin the experience for him, and with Ego I think it's the other way around. He's a funny guy though, and I like his opinions about games, I think he's just very overzealous in trying to convince Ego about the games he loves - but that's good, it gives Egoraptor the chance to point out its various faults and so you get a good overall view. And actually, having seen Jon's video which compares nuts and bolts to banjo kazooie, he's incredibly spot on as to why it was such a terrible sequel. He knows his stuff.

But it is true that Jon feels like the side kick in all the episodes. Like the latest kirby episode when they were making jokes, Ego was coming up with some great stuff just on the spot and was being genuinely hilarious, whilst Jon was just trying to tag along. Don't get me wrong I love Jon in his own show, but I think in this live kind of thing it doesn't work so well for him. But they have "matey" conversations which would normally happen when you play games with friends like this. Which is why I watch it. What I really like is how quick witted Egoraptor is and how Jon reacts slowly to his jokes most of the time. Their personalities really work amazingly together.

And it turned out to be amazing, their best one so far. They should definitely not play games one of them already has a deep seeded love for. It just makes it a bit awkward.

that's the thing with the recent videos, one or both of them have played the game so they can just generally power through it and it's kind of lame to watch besides their discussions. I like it better when it's them discussing random shit AND the game (ie goof troop).

as far as new games go i think maybe resident evil 5 co op would be cool that has puzzles right? i forget. either way it would cause a lot of team work and panic and screaming. that'd be cool plus it's a lot different to the games they've been playing PLUS PLUS FUN FACT the creator of goof troop went on to create the resident evil games
